“Stevo was the bartender/waiter. He is hands down just awesome! Hospitality was phenomenal! Food was perfect! Best burger and fries we have had on our trip to Colorado! Chicken tenders were perfect! Great atmosphere!!!”
“Stumbled upon this place. We had some of the best burgers we have ever had. The meat is sourced from right across the road and you can tell how fresh it is.My partner and I loved it so much we drove out of our way the next night for a second dinner here. The Gouda soup was also amazing.”
“Wife and I stopped in after spending the afternoon in Cripple Creek, we walked in and they told us to sit wherever we like. We were quickly greeted and got some drink orders in. The drinks were amazing and the food was fast and so delicious. The waiter checked on us very frequently and made sure we were taken care of and that everything was good. Highly recommend!!”
“The Lamb Kabob is what I always get. This is place is Amazing. When I do eat out this is where I eat. Go eat. You will not be disappointed. Thank Goodnes Sam decided to o0en a place here. The best! Every server I have had is Amazing. Today it was Brittany. Thank you Brittany ?”
“Dietary restrictions: Amazing accommodating and delicious also gluten free pastries. They also roast their own coffee and house and in the spring summer time they have the best cold brew nitro in town!”
“Loved the food! The Motherload Mac and cheese was delicious! The young men working there were so polite and worked hard to ensure a great meal for my family and I!! Would recommend to anyone who likes food that tastes like it's home cooked!!”
“That pork green chili is so damn good I had it two days in a row! We stayed in the cottages across the way and snuck down for some breakfast to fuel our Colorado adventures. I was full all day after eating this monster ?”
“The food was incredible. The fruit cream crepes were particularly good. I have a picture, but it's of an empty plate because it was too good to stop and take pictures of it.”
“Our experience at the cafe was five star! LOVE the atmosphere. Super clean., service excellent. And we had the best cinnamon banana bread we have ever eaten. Not your typical banana bread more like a moist coffee cake. Loved our strawberry lemonade too. Can’t wait to try more things and also come to Caps Pizza! Thank you for giving us more restaurant options in the area. :)”
“The latte was not only delicious but they genuinely thanked me for coming in. It was sincere and I actually felt appreciated. I don't live in Woodland Park but I will come here again whenever we come through town.”
“The drinks are good, the staff is nice and courteous. But let's be real, the prices are high because it's the only coffee shop that the tourists can easily see. The local "high society" customers roll through with their pinkies in the air too.I much rather spend the extra money than patronize a business that hates the military and made us pay for water during 9-11, I was there! So support your local private owned.Vegetarian options: There's no meat grazers, its a coffee shop.Dietary restrictions: Cheat day approved.Parking: Its a drive through, not a hang out spot.Kid-friendliness: Kids eat muffins and like to drink.Wheelchair accessibility: Just stay in your vehicle and you can still roll up.”
“I am ashamed to say... I have passed by but never stopped at this lovely coffee shop, until today! Cozy and upbeat modern vibe. Plenty of indoor twosome seating as well as tables for "working". Outdoor seating is welcoming . Staff were attentive and sweet. Coffee was great, the pastries were surprisingly unique! This is my new favorite place to chill!”
“Iconic. Amazing. Beautiful. These are from the reviews of others, and I'd echo these terms and many more, with regard to this incredible wonder. I've long wanted to drive to the top and we did so on a recent visit. It was early November on an uncharacteristically warm day with beautiful clear skies as we began our ascent, and the weather stayed perfect the whole time, getting colder as we ascended of course. The drive itself starts out very mildly in terms of grade, and frankly, excitement, but it definitely saves the best stuff for later. Once you get into the seriously twisty and steep bits, the trees start to part and reveal the spectacular views as you get higher and higher. Our rented Toyota 4 Runner was more than capable, and got us up and down with aplomb. We were initially excited as we reached the summit, until we got out of the car and headed to the visitor center. It was at that point that my wife and I both realized we had a bit of altitude sickness, in the form of dizziness, light headedness and she even had a smidge of nausea. We were surprised and how, well, almost terrible we felt. We grabbed a couple of quick pics and began our descent, and we began to feel better soon thereafter. So, be prepared for the possibility. As we came back down, we stayed in first gear on the 4 Runner much of the way, and at the mandatory brake check, the checker commented that our brakes were under 100 degrees and that we were doing a great job. The view was even better on the way down. If you're ever in this area, this is a must-do and must-see. It is everything that everyone says, totally awesome.”
“Hands down, the best meal of our entire trip to Woodland Park. My daughter and I loved the atmosphere. Kirsten, our waitress was wonderful, and attentive. The gnocchi was the best I have ever had. The pears with the blue cheese was phenomenal. My daughter’s lasagna was delicious. She said it was her favorite she’s ever had. We got a tiramisu and a cannoli to go, and can’t wait to dig in!”
“Stop trying to figure out what to eat for dinner and go here. Five stars all the way across. Service and food were great. Didn’t even get halfway done with our drinks and more were coming to us. The food came out very quick after we ordered and it all was very tasty. Lots of options to choose from. We’re definitely going to come back when we’re in town !”
“We have lived near woodland for a couple years- and coming from st louis area where Chinese is AMAZING- we had tried a couple of the restaurants in woodland and just never went back bc it was so disappointing...I think we passed on fortune because the building looked as if it may fall down- lol- we really were craving some good Chinese so we said - the heck with it and gave it a try- now we are addicted!!! The ladies in the front of house are great- the food is excellent- some of the best egg rolls hands down- the decor....well I don't care about that- I care about the food- it's fantastic!”
“This place is amazing. The food is so good. The hellfire porkbelly and Pad Thai is sooooo good. The server is a really nice guy as well. I eat here every time I'm in woodland ”
“Best place to eat in Woodland Park! It was my very first time in Colorado and the Judges burger was the best I’ve had in my whole trip. The customer service was on point, the food was very delicious, and overall a great experience. Definitely recommend ??”
“Everyone LOVED the food. We tried the egg rolls, orange chicken, shrimp fried rice, triple schezuan, combo fried rice and cashew chicken. All of the food was DELICIOUS!! The portions are generous too. Hands down I recommend.”
“I had the very spicy brat. Really tasted the heat on that! I asked the cashier if the soda was homemade, and she answered yes. Ordered the Lemon Lime, and I could have sworn it was Sprite. ^o^ I was surprised I didn't mind the saurkraut on the brat. The decor included an old rotating thingie that I've seen for placing orders and wheeling to the front. Theirs was decorated with various steins.”
“The staff was great. Kinda a snack bar style menu. Very clean. Beautiful view. Everything tasted good. They got busy & the workers kept a great attitude & sense of urgency. We appreciated this nice little spot.”
“FANTASTIC FISH! Great service, only 4 stars cause it was one bar tender taking care of the whole bar. Great cook named David he’s awesome and this place is awesome!”
“This new Starbucks location is excellent. Ample seating for remote work, clean bathrooms, friendly staff, and they consistently get my order right (nitro with extra cold foam). I highly recommend this location!”
“Love it! This place has a lovely ambiance. The service is first rate. I just came in while waiting for my dog at the groomers. So it's early and not at all busy. My tostada is fresh and totally loaded. I just can't say how comfortable and hospitable this place feels. It's a hidden gem in Woodland Park, CO. Definitely worth a visit from the Springs. The margarita is worth the visit all on its own.”
“It's tough to beat the atmosphere of this place.. If the walls could talk... Make sure you get there on Thurs night for open mic night.. Bethany and the guys rock it out..”
“We go there so often and it’s always an amazing experience! Karaoke Saturdays are our favorite! The classic margarita and chocolate cake are 12/10!!!! I also get my fav charcuterie there :)”
“If I ate here everyday day, I don’t know how long I’d live, but I’d be happy. The food is out of sight good. Hard to have the best of, but I think it was the best biscuits and gravy ever, maybe the best burger, the best brisket, and the best potatoes, and even the best ketchup. Great. Worth the drive.”
“The pizza is pretty good and considering you can get a family size pizza for less that the cost of a single jimmy johns sandwich down the way, it's good deal in these expensive times.”
“Cozy coffee shop with neat decoration and atmosphere. The old time decorations and friendly staff help one to glimpse through time and the history of the area. The coffee was above average but the muffin was less than stellar, however i will for sure go back during my next trip.”
“The Borracho Burger was close to being a religious experience for me. Perfect cook, chargrill flavor, with a delicious bacon, onion jam combine with green Chile is out of this world! Best Stout we have had in a while and their Mexican light lager chelada is refreshing.”
