I visited Acres to celebrate my friend Jennifer's big birthday. We were a group of Women who came to eat, drink, and be giggly. Acres is a charming little restaurant with a tiny menu. Our server was friendly, and knew exactly how to deal with us. The ladies all loved their dinner, as did I. I ordered the Beetroot Salad, and the Sufferin' Succotash as my entree. Went to Acres later in a Saturday in December. It was their soft reopening, so they had a limited menu of smaller plates, but it was exactly what our group of ladies was looking for and was perfect accompaniment to a bottle of wine. The pork belly was particularly amazing. Our server was lovely and they even offered a complimentary dessert to share. We popped in last minute. Nice cozy atmosphere, perfect for a special occasion or date or just to pop in for a drink. The drinks were great, soup and food was excellent. Our waiter was knowledgeable and friendly.
