“We visited yesterday. They were short staffed, only one person at the front taking orders (dine in and take out), serving and checking out! We sat for 10 minutes without water while waiting to place orders. She was very nice and apologized for the delay. Food was average for me (eggs Benedict, eggs were overcooked, not enough hollandaise), but spiced Chai was good! My friends' meals were good- ranging from burger to sandwiches, skillet, and chicken noodle soup. I am impressed that they made the fries from scratch!“
“Eaten and had drinks here a few times in the past couple years with small and midsize groups(8+ people). Went back this weekend and appreciated it looked like they’ve done some renovations. The food is consistently decent bar fair. The cheese curds are very tasty and come with an excellent sauce. Burgers are good and decent size. Drinks are also fairly good and decently priced for a tourist town- enjoyed the Colorado bulldog which can be hit or miss. Our server, Marcos, was nice and accommodating when we requested to move to a low top table.Wheelchair accessibility: Women’s restroom access is pretty narrow, not sure it could easily accommodate more than a walker, or perhaps a narrow wheelchair. I don’t believe it would be able to accommodate a power chair unless child size.“
“Charming historic hotel with food and drinks that don't disappoint. The menu is a bit small and didn't have any kid options last time I was there, but the view is lovely and the service is very kind and friendly. They are also very good to locals which I have always appreciated.“
“Lovely little local restaurant. Loved the food, prompt and friendly service, live music, and family friendly atmosphere. Quite a few options for vegetarians and an awesome collection of hot teas as well! I enjoyed the pot of longevity tea and the greens and grains bowl with the bread and butter and hubby had a burger with fries.Vegetarian options: Loved the greens and grain bowl with sweet potato, black beans, red quinoa on a bed of greens with a tasty sauce. Served with fresh bread and honey butter!“
“Outstanding in every respect! Destiney was our server and she should be considered an ambassador to for this Pub, couldn’t have asked for a more delightful and professional person! Best burger either my wife or I have Ever had, that coupled with the best Margarita we have had in years. We ate at the old Wapiti a few years back and it was OK at best. Don’t judge the new by the old, with the move to the new location they raised the bar to an entirely different level, this is our new Go-To pub in Estes! ]Thank You for the Wonderful experience,Dave, Kris and Jenni“
“Excellent atmosphere, we stop in several times a year. Food is, very meh. From the hot breakfast bagel sandwiches that are mushy and falling apart to the tomato mozzarella on toast, they’re all pretty worthless and something you’d get in grade school honestly.Coffee drinks are run of the mill, some better than others but they get the job done and aren’t bad by any means; which is all I need to keep returning to feed the ducks and relax with a drink.“
“We went in for the Christmas Pop Up bar experience. Super fun atmosphere with lots of great Christmas decor. Our server Anthony was so friendly! And his drinks were killer. Really made it fun there!Highly Recommend my new favorite bar.Phil H. Boulder, CO“
“Absolutely phenomenal. I’m writing this review while I still sit at my table. That’s how amazing it is. From the craft cocktails made to perfection to the delectable dessert, this is a must do in Estes Park.Every bite was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back.“
“Don’t let the fact this burger joint is in a gas station turn you away. Best burgers in Estes park! Some of my favorite food that I get at least weekly. I think the location actually adds a really cool ambiance to a place that slangs out amazing quality food! Open for breakfast lunch and dinner!“
“I was a bit sad when I got here and a menu item I saw online, was no longer on the menu. The menu had plenty of options so it was easy to choose another dish. The food was absolutely amazing! Best burger I’ve ever had! Had a side of ranch and it was amazing and flavorful as well. This is a must visit!“
“Service was decent. It did not take long to place an order and get out food. Restaurant can get very crowded and by extension a bit dirty - but I'm not going to knock the staff for that because they seem to be doing their best. Food has been a bit too salty both times I've been. A bit pricey but also not knocking because it's average for Estes. Don't bother getting the avacado burger - while the avacado "patties" look really interesting, it is expensive and really isnt that good. Overall, would probably come again if I'm in Estes and want a burger.“
“Right on the tourist strip and usually that is reason for locals to stay away. Their name used to be "The locals ...". A friend from out of town came here and enjoyed it and recommended it. We had good service and good food. Excellent burger, the lobster Mac&Cheese looked standard elbow noodles, but the flavor was really good. Seems like a small place with a full bar with a pretty extensive whiskey selection. Plenty of drink options. We enjoyed our first trip“
“My family and I were here for a visit and I’m so glad we stopped here. Waitress was very nice and consistently checked up on us to ensure we enjoyed our food— and we very much did. The food was given to us very fast and the quality was excellent. The salads were delicious and my drink was always refilled. I definitely recommend coming here.“
“We had an amazing dinner at Wayfinder tonight! The ribeye (steak and fries) was buttery soft, but even that was overshadowed by the best New York strip I’ve ever had. We ordered it with the tremendous mushroom crème sauce. The tres leches bread pudding was incredible and a great way to end our meal!“
“Everything about this place is good, the service is so friendly, the food is delicious and big portions you will have leftovers. We ate here 2 times on our trip and it was great both times. We had nachos, spaghetti, brisket sandwich, chicken fried steak, and the pork green chili it was all awesome! We will be back anytime we come to Estes!“
“Absolutely beautiful setting just outside Rocky Mountain national Park!!! Stunning rooms with views of the mountains. Great service, sat next to a nice fireplace. Great sized prints, very simple classic steakhouse style food but fun requests on the classics with wild game and decadent sauces on the menu. Execution of the filet mignon and and elk ribeye were spot on, perfect simple seasoning. The baked Brie was a really great starter, and the cheesecake was phenomenal (very classic cream cheese forward style) and carrot cake was great. Service was great and friendly. We will be going back for special occasions!!!“
“We went here to grab a bite after we found out that our favorite restaurant in Estes wasn't open. I had the fish and it was amazing, so were the sides. I ordered more of the couscous it was that good! Service was great, our waiter was hands on but not pushy, very helpful and answered all our questions. Definitely a place to eat if you visit Estes!“
“Stopped in for a quick bite- hubby had the chicken fried chicken and I had the tuna melt. Food was spot on, service was quick and friendly, and the old fashioned diner setting made for a relaxed and enjoyable dinner. We got too full to try out their homemade pies but we will definitely be stopping by again.“
“Our group ordered drinks and chicken strips after a long day of walking and it was soooooo good. The chicken was delicious and you had a lot of dipping options. They cater to people who are gluten-free and they do take it seriously which we appreciated. The staff was outstanding thank you for accommodating us and for such wonderful service.“
“Great food and service, would definitely recommend trying it if you're looking for something in Estes Park.Parking: There's a free parking lot behind the building on the opposite side of the creek. Depending on the time of day it may be full.Kid-friendliness: They were great with the kids, even in spite of the spilled water cup.“
“This is the bar where a scene in Dumb & Dumber was filmed! It's a beautiful bar with a great selection of cocktails and spirits and the perfect place for a nice cocktail in Estes Park. The ambiance is very warm & cozy and the drinks are excellent. I had an espresso martini which was delicious! A little pricey but I think it's worth it for the nice experience and a chance for a fun activity at the Stanley.“
“The food was pretty good across the board. The sweet potatoes had a sweet seasoning. The mac and cheese could maybe use a little more flavor. The serving size was very generous.I will note that we waited about 30 minutes to receive our bills and have our cards run, which made for a not as great experience.“
