While on a very long day of traveling to visit a sibling in the hospital in the Fort Collins area, I stopped into 5 Guys for a quick bite. This was the first time I've been into a Five Guys in the last few years.The positives: the staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. And the fries were very good, crisp and well seasoned in a huge quantity.The negatives: the burger itself really wasn't very good. It wasn't particularly hot, cheese was barely melting, and it was not very juicy. Buns were also apparently not toasted and not warm. While it seems more expensive than other burger places it is a true double patty not two super thin patties like Freddie's or In and Out. I do hate the gross peanut bag thing. Srsly a dumb marketing ploy they should ditch.
