The escargot was okay I assume (?), I've not had escargot before. It did remind me of mushrooms. I wonder why we bother with snails when mushrooms would be so much easier. The fried oysters had a perfect, crispy crust. It was flavorful, but not enough to cover up the presence of oyster. I can't fault them too heavily for being what they are.... oysters. Let me say I didn't order this. My dining partner ordered them and was kind enough to share. They were very pleased with how they turned out.The service was excellent. The soup was good. I feel like I had to search for the flavors of the pickled ukrainian tomato and the artichoke heart. The soup was also covered in bitter tasting petals and was very pretty. The baked good I had for dessert was an almond cake (baked in 6" tart tin?) with cherries and toasted hazelnuts in a lavender syrup. It had a gritty almond flour texture, and reminded me of eating a macaron. The cherries were nice. The flavor was subtle. It takes some time to eat there. We had a three course meal and were there for nearly three hours. This place has lovely looking drinks and I imagine would hold greater appeal for me if I were more of a wine drinker.

Great night eating out. Service was top notch from the door and through our meal. The staff even created a customized menu for us with our names and anniversary on it. Recommend trying 626.

Overall excellent dishes, great cocktails and a nice wine list. Service was impeccable. The escargot was an exact balance of blue cheese, garlic and snail - all flavors coming though nicely. The shrimp and scallops cooked perfectly. The Applewood duck salad was fresh and drizzled with a perfect dressing to balance out the sweet candied beets and the rich duck. Would like to have had the duck a bit more crispy and juicy but fine as it was on the salad. FOH new the menu and wine list intimately and were very friendly is helping us select drinks and food. They knew exactly when to check on us without being intrusive - Such great staff.

We had such an amazing date night! I think our server's name was Amy, and she was great! Very interactive and knowledgeable of the menu. The food was delicious, as well as the cocktails. Overall, we had a great time!

The "Sea Bass" was either old or left out too long. The ambiance was not that of a $$$$ eatery. The menu was severly limited. The drinks were original and good. The service was great. Definitely overpriced.
We always enjoy a visit to 626. Lately we've been craving some of the amazing dishes of ol' that drew us to the restaurant in the first place. We hope the chef would consider a short lived menu of best sellers from the past. The food is always good, the drinks are always great, and the staff is always friendly.

Three of us went there for dinner on a February evening to celebrate a friend's birthday. There was a good variety of dishes to choose from, some were small plate and some large. We were drinking delicious Mango Habanero Jalapdno Margatini concocted by a seasoned barman. As an accompaniment an order of Truffle Cheese Fries were enjoyed by us. Nice presentation! Our entrees ran the gamut, with one having the Wagyu Beef hamburger, one opting for the Pepita Pesto Pasta (plant based), and a Flat Iron Steak Salad . We were happy with our choices, accompanying sauces were great. 626 produced attractive plates of very satisfying dishes. We accompanied all with glasses of a delicious Pinot Noir, Yering, from the Yarra River region in the state of Victoria, Australia. An inspired selection by our server, Gabriel Birthday girl wanted a totally decadent Chocolate Marquis de Sade which we all raved over.Pleasing ambiance for a special evening. We'll go back to 626.

Excellent on all scores. A bit pricy for some of us to go frequently. Great service and the ingredients are first rate. Wonderful ever changing wine offerings

Meals we ordered had unique flavors and ingredient combinations that were delicious. The wine flights we had complimented the food. The service excellent including explanations of the meals we ordered.

I've tried it several times - the atmosphere is lovely & the food presentation beautiful, however, after trying a variety of dishes nothing tasted very good. Sadly disappointed.
