Came for early dinner in August, we walked from our nearby hotel, convenient. It’s a cozy place with rustic elegant decor and limited seating. They also have a small outdoor patio area. Our waiter was attentive and accommodating but the place filled up fast so he got busy after our food came. Food was hot and delicious, no complaints here. Would dine there again if ever back in town.

Shame. It “could” have been nice. Patio was great but the service was absolutely horrible and utterly unacceptable. My wife and I watched a guest sit at a dirty table, be told they would clean it, and after literally 15-20 minutes of ZERO activity they got up to go to another restaurant. If we weren’t starving and exhausted we would have certainly done the same because we were treated identically. The gentleman server we had was nice but couldn’t overcome having no other help at all. (The weird thing is that they really didn’t seem that busy??) The food was mediocre at best but don’t waste your time or money until management gets their act together and open a “real” restaurant as they clearly do not care about their guests experience at all. Unless they get first time visitors (who make a mistake) and free rent, I don’t see them staying open very long. They could turn it around if they provide proper service one day (and I hope they do) as I see potential. Hopefully some people can review after this date to confirm they have changed, but as of now it is terrible,

We were greeted immediately by the host, Reilly, who was really friendly. Our server, Cheyenne, was also friendly and did a good job. The food was delicious.


Service was poor. We were looked down on from the moment we walked in. We were traveling all day and just wanted to grab some dinner. The server forgot our bread and we had to ask for refills and the check. He never checked on us after the food was served while we observed the waiter at the next table who was extremely attentive. The pizza was good, but I would not recommend the experience.

Super disappointed after getting seated. Ambience was great & our server was nice but food took a really long time with no updates & when it finally cameThere was no cheese or bread or anything to add to the experience. We asked about the long wait & the manager was rude & talked about their lack of air conditioning VS anything we experienced- super confrontational vs a simple apology & maybe acomped glass of wine or something. Good luck if you go there.

We have dined he on 4 different occasions. The food has always been outstanding. The service is great. Very friendly and helpful. The wife and I are both half Italian. I grew up with authentic Italian cooking and this restaurant definitely measures up.

We stopped in while waiting to depart for Vegas. It wasn't too busy but we had about a 15 minute wait. Which wasn't a problem because we weren't in hurry. It was a warm day in Grand Junction and the restaurant was a bit muggy.Our server Cheyenne was great. She was attentive and quick. Service was excellent.We ordered a couple of appetizers. 3 meatballs with mozzarella and marinara. Also garlic cheese bread with bacon and marinara sauce. Both came out quick and were fresh and hot.We also split a classic stromboli. Which takes about 30 minutes to come out. It was also hot and fresh and tasty.Overall our experience at Citrola's was fantastic and a great way to start a trip.


Delicious food & wonderful service. Josh was attentive & personable during a busy dinner shift. Will definitely return !

Not a great restaurant. Walked in and apparently they dont have working air conditioning. The thermostat next to the bathroom said it was 80 degrees inside. Fettuccine alfredo had no salt and not enough cheese. Bland. The lemon basil ravioli apparently got all the salt that the alfredo was supposed to have in it. It had decent flavor but it was so salty that it ruined an otherwise fine dish. Calamari was surprisingly cooked properly not extremely chewy like most in Colorado. Pretty disappointed in the experience considering how good the owners' deli is next door. For a bunch of ex-New Yorkers, they should have a better grip on the food. This type of food would never fly in the tri-state, especially for the price. They should probably also update their menus since the prices on there did not match what we were charged, even if it was a small amount. To the owners: do better. To any prospective customer: if youve had real Italian you will disappointed, if youre from Colorado it was probably be just fine for you


I had the gumbo and it was just ok. My wife had meatballs and they were really good. I tasted the Fettuccine Alfredo and it was just so so. The service was good but the prices are pretty high. With drinks we spent about $200 for 4 adults and two children.

I asked if they had homemade pasta...they said yes!I asked if they had gluten-free and they said they can make it gluten-free...wrong. my daughter got sick because of the gluten and there was no homemade pasta for sure. I have never given a 1 star review before, so this is my first.Very sorry experience especially when you spend $230.00.

Service was slow but they looked short staffed. Brussel sprouts appetizers were fantastic. Bread was good. Wine was pretty darn good. The rest of the food was not good at all. There were 4 of us. Shrimp scampi, shrimp was tough and over cooked, spaghetti and meatballs not good either. Meatballs were flavorless and the pasta was supposed to be homemade (per the server) but it was just boxed pasta. We walked from a near by hotel so we didn't have much of a choice but the food here really was not worth it.

In town for the weekend. Enjoyed a great dinner. Good food, good ambiance, friendly on time service. Great pricing.


The large pizza was big and good, could use a bit more toppings for what you pay, the small was over done, think they did at same time as large or reheated it either way was over done but not going to have it redone while large got cold. Had to call to staff when I entered after standing and waiting for 10 min to get service. This was the second time there first time 3 years ago ate dinner in and it was better, this time did carryout
