My favorite restaurant in town! They have the best gluten free options of any place I can eat. I'm very sensitive to gluten, and they do a wonderful job of preventing cross-contamination (never been sick once). We're having them cater our wedding because we love their food so much!

Make a reservation as this restaurant is in high demand! The handmade fresh pasta served with such unique sauces makes all the difference—the food options, all courses, are extraordinary. Our server, Emma, was delightful, professional, and very attentive to our needs. We celebrated our anniversary here (along with my birthday) so we took in the whole foodie experience—pre-dinner drinks (excellent variety from the bar), appetizers, dinner and dessert. We were treated like famous people by the chef, Adrian. We also love peeking into the kitchen at the entrance and observing the amazing kitchen staff working their culinary magic!

This has been our go to place whenever we have guests in GJT, but last night after having spent nearly $300 for dinner I walked out greatly disappointed.The food itself was very good as always, but the service was atrocious throughout the entire dinner. 20 minutes to get a wine pairing recommendation from the bartender, and then no wine till half the dinner is done or cold waiting on the wine. 15 minutes to wait for bread or cracker accompaniments requested for the antipasti board.Having to wave our hands like we were in Hong Kong, to either get the waiters attention or put 2nd or 3rd requests in for items. The waiter apologized profusely for the slow service, when we made the decision to go somewhere else for more drink, and never accommodated our call in request for this being a special occasion, and probably didn't understand that he had lost another $150. or more because we just couldn't stand it anymore.I certainly hope this was due to a covid shortage of personnel or experienced personnel and this doesn't happen again with our next visit or we may have to reconsider our choices in the future. Even our guests questioned why in the world was there a 4.5 star rating as we walked up Main street to another establishment. :(

My wife said that their specialty dish, called Rosetta on the menu is the best Italian dish she has ever had, I would not disagree. Gosh it was delicious, just order it as it is the first dish on entrees. This place is still at 50% capacity per Colorado bylaws. Hopefully this ends soon as people are missing out.

Great little restaurant. Not many tables so I would assume you almost always need a reservation. Which is much harder then expected. They don't offer an online option. You need to call and leave a message, then they call you back after maybe 4 pm. It worked out but was unnecessarily complicated vs an online option.The food was very good but felt slightly more expensive than it should be. Not outrageously though. The mixed drinks were also very good and they have a large wine selection.Would go back for a 2nd visit for a special occasion. Bill for 2 with 3 mixed drinks, appetizer and a dessert was $140 before tip.

I would love to share how the food was here But>>>>We waited to be seated after watching two different people try and seat a group of 4 at 2 different tables and a gentleman told us that he would "be right back" he never did.While we were there at the front door waiting another couple walked right by us and they were seated straight away, must have been some very important couple around here.Also it was not crowded well before 5:30pm on a Thursday with several open tables.There is a need of what true customer service really is.Missed your chance at a good first impression.

If it were possible I would not even give this place one star. Our meals were almost finished when the waitress finally came to our table to see if everything was okay and if anything was needed. This is when I asked for more sauce for my husband’s dry pasta. It was brought to him and when the bill arrived we found out we were charged $3.00 extra just to make his mealtasteful and edible. Two of the other pasta meals were very over cooked.The worst part, after paying nearly $200. 00, on the way out the door a bowl of tiny candy was on the counter. When I went to get some out of the bowl an older gentleman treated me like a child by saying ah, ah, ah and pulled the bowl away from me! I was so astonished that I was left speechless and embarrassed. Would not recommend this restaurant!

Friendly and accommodating staff. Their signature dish, the Rosetta, is fantastic. Very cool they also offer an a la carte charcuterie option. One of the better meals I've had in a while. Can't stress enough how great the entire staff was this evening!

Best Italian food I've had in years. We had the Bruschetta for our appetizer and Lamb Sirloin for the entrees. Highly recommended!

If you keep on asking waitress about the sour potatoes and then leave 3/4 of the meal...think she would ask if something is wrong with the meal? The chicken in lemon sause should have chicken swimming in lemon from the bottle. My meal was great but my husbands was uneatable.

If you like excellent Italian with great wine, while in Grand Junction Colorado, go to Il Bistro Italiano. We had stuffed mushrooms and veal and both were so delicious.

We walked in on Friday evening but they were booked. So we made a reservation for Saturday. It was early for us and we weren’t very hungry but went ahead and kept the reservation. The food was outstanding. The service was terrific. Olivia was our waitress and she was engaging and interesting. We had the Carciofini e Stracciatella for the appetizer and it’s only the 2nd time in many many years that I asked for the recipe. They didn’t share it but Olivia asked and made sure I had the correct spelling before we left. The rest of the meal was absolutely delicious but those artichokes were one of the best things I have ever eaten.
