My wife and I ordered via door dash since we are staying the night at a hotel as we pass through. I fee like the food would have been much better if we were there. We ordered a mid tempura appetizer, 5 sushi rolls and a chicken katsu curry. The shrimp tempura in the appetizer and the roll were both under cooked. The shrimp was still translucent. Needed 2 more minutes frying. The veggies for the tempura were okay a sliver of sweet potato, one piece of broccoli and about 5 onion petals. My last curry was good. I got more chicken than I though I would. The curry sauce had a bit of spice to it but was oily and very thin. I was also surprised that it wasn’t served with katsu sauce. The sushi was okay but they only gave us 3 packs of soy sauce for 5 rolls plus tempura. So if you wanna give this place a try go eat there and don’t get it delivered.

This is my go to place for sushi. The fish is fresh and great quality especially given how far we are from the coast. I always get the nigiri sushi and a handful of different kinds. The service is friendly and everything is made to order. I highly recommend the sushi. I haven't had anything else like the teriyaki but I am sure it's great too.

We love this little hole-in-the-wall place so much. They specialize in ramen. So good and very affordable.

Very expensive and very average. There are other choices and your taste buds will thank you for making them.

The pork dumplings were watery and tasteless. The spider roll was just the soft shell crab which was burnt and overcooked. Nothing else was in it. The sake was totally cold when I asked for a hot sake. The Ramen noodle soup was fair to poor with only one tempura shrimp in it that was way over cook. Don't eat here

This was a very sad experience. The person making those sushi rolls was also the waiter. The glass case was very dirty and the fish was very old and worn out looking. The wasabi and ginger were tiny servings. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Veteran; spent time in Okinawa, I was beyond delighted to find authentic Japanese meals in such a place as GJ (grew up on the western slope). I've been here many times with friends and family because I wanted to share with them the food I enjoyed. I love me some Katsu Currey and it just reminds me of a place I never wanted to leave. I love this restaurant, its location and environment is exactly what I would expect. No showboating with excessive décor or non-traditional menu items. It's a little piece of Nippon that I treasure. Domo arigato gozaimasu!

I decided to try this place on a whim when my two favorite places had a wait list of over an hour. The staff was overwhelmed with takeout orders but they did not even acknowledge our arrival. I had to get my own menu which was sticky and gross. We sat there for 30 minutes before we finally walked out.

Good food in a family atmosphere. This is a small space and even smaller with restrictions so please be kind and patient.

This place was gross. The sushi came warm and tasted off didn't even eat it. The ramen was just a clump of noodles and some nasty brother with half an egg. I ate a few bites and threw all of it out. Disgusting.
