I have been coming here since they opened years ago. The food is always fantastic. I love the fact that you could have Thai or Chinese or Japanese or Vietnamese depending on what you prefer. Small family-owned restaurant with consistently good food. To the people that have said negative things about the hostess. She is not rude. You have to get to know her sense of humor but rude is definitely not what she is. She is always friendly caring has fantastic service and has been kind to my kids since they were little.

I thought I was looking for just an alright Asian meal. But when I walked into the Zen Garden, I truly felt the Zen. The atmosphere imbued me with a heavenly bliss, the likes of which no establishment has left me with before. The waitress that served me left me in awe with her professional air and her pleasant energy left me feeling as though I was the only customer in the whole restaurant. As soon as the food came out, I was enchanted by a steaming plate of not your average cuisine, but a decadent platter of the finest craft my pallet has ever had the pleasure of being introduced to. And for the cost of the meal, I couldn’t imagine myself eating at another Asian cuisine restaurant again. Hands down the greatest my lips have crossed. I thank you Zen Garden, for showing me what real food is like, and for introducing me to the flavors of your incredible culture. Blessings to you!

We went there today and were pleasantly surprised. The food was good and the prices are good. We were told tomorrow everything will be going up because replacement prices are so high on everything. The waitress was kinda mad sounding at first but, it's just her since of humor. She ended up being very nice. We will definitely go again.

Zen garden has some of the most genuine and delicious food I could ever ask for. The sushi is the best I've ever had in my entire life! And the people that run this restaurant are super kind and nice ! They had my food ready fast and my cup never went empty. If I could leave a 10 star review I would.

I have been going to Zen Garden since my kids were very little. The whole family loves to go and eat the food which I find delicious. I have seen many people over the years call Nancy many things and she is famous or infamous depending on who is writing the reviews. Those who are triggered easily (you know who you are...) have called her many names but I would say she is a very recognized person in Junction, maybe not as famous as Speedo Man but that is probably because she wears more clothes! Our kids love her and have since they were young, I think that says a lot about her. If nothing else go there to meet Nancy, she is unique in a world trying to all become the same person.Kid-friendliness: Nancy will treat your kids like the prince and?or princess they are.

This was our first time here and our waitress, Nancy Chao, was awesome! She made us feel like we were regulars, she was just fantastic and we loved her sense of humor. Our food was great, our sushi was delicious, our dumplings and Thai spring rolls were amazing and our curries were perfect. We will be happily returning for more great food and even better service!

Omg! The inside is soo cute! All the chairs are beautifully upholstered, very clean.. The sushi was top 5 best I had in a long long time, hands down. The waitress was very kind, greeted us immediately and kept my water glass full. Totally recommend! Xox

We were immediately seated by Nancy, who gave us a table near the front after noticing that my friend used a cane to walk. I had the combination fried rice and it was great. My husband had a duck dish that was good and our friend got orange chicken. The portions are huge and we will all be eating on it for another meal or two. The tempura appetizer was amazing. It was perfectly prepared. Nancy can be a bit abrupt but I think that's just her style and is not intended to be rude in any way. When you ask a question about a menu item, she refers you to the menu where the option(s) are explained. We didn't get any sushi but we might next time we visit. I understand that when you order sushi, you are given a paper to specify what you want so there is no misunderstanding. With the myriad of choices available, that sounds like a smart way to do it even though other (entitled) people seem to have an issue with this method. Their loss, I guess. The menu is extensive with Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese and, of course, Japanese cuisine available. You certainly don't find that kind of selection everywhere. Their menus are a little tired looking and would benefit from being relaminated but that certainly doesn't affect the food. I would definitely eat here again.

I ordered takeout and was given an estimated time for pickup. Before my estimated time, I received a phone call from the restaurant informing me that my order was ready. I let the person know I was on my way. Before I could make it to the restaurant (10 min), I received another another call and a text message from them. Upon arrival, I was asked what took me so long. I'm not sure if they get stiffed on their orders often, or if they were just eager for me to receive my food still hot. However, my food was still hot and delicious when I got back home to eat it. If you're looking for good, affordable food, this is a great find. If you're looking for warm and friendly service, they have good, affordable food.
