Attended their first "knithouse session" for a behind-the-scenes peek at their brewhouse and some fun education about lagers. What an awesome experience! This small team made us feel so welcome and they are making some really excellent beers. We particularly enjoyed Origami Tiger rice lager with seaweed and sabro hops and Barb's Lipstick fruited sour as well as the lager tastings from their tanks. I have to say downtown Greeley has greatly improved compared to when I lived nearby about ten years ago. It used to kind of feel like a forsaken place and anything that would involve fun downtown activities would require going to another town.One thing that helps the downtown is that a brewery is here. Amazing how this place has grown over the years. Not in size, mind you, but in beer quality. Originally it was 60 Colorado beers, and half a dozen mostly mediocre beers brewed in house (and Bo DePena to make you come back) . . . now it's a dozen or so excellent in-house beers with a few guest taps, oh, and they still manage to snag Bo DePena from time to time. Tasty snacks too. A most righteous hang!
