Being over 60 and having traveled a lot, I think this is one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to. Everything I’ve had there was really yummy. A few of my personal favorites are the Chile Relleno Nachos, the Carnitas Plate, and the Huevos Con Chorizo.

Went here a year ago. The food was cold. Asked to have them remake it only yo have it microwaved with even more cheese on it.Yesterday (4-6-24) went there around 130. Hostess, water server and server had no personality. The booth needs yo be recushioned, worn out. I got a #18 (chilli relleno, quac tostafa, rice/beans and beef taco). When I asked for the dish, I wasn't asked what meat I wanted but had yo tell the waiter. Our food came 25 minutes layer. The wait staff never came to check on us. The rice and beans were filled with salt, I'm assuming processed. Taco was soggy from chill. The whole plate was cover in tons of lettuce and a bit of tomato. The relleno was just a thick clump of cheese wrapped.NEVER will I go back. No service, no good food.Oh, 24 hrs later I'm still suck from the food.Why locals like this crude I do not understand.

Was shocked with the overall very poor quality of the Carne Asada entree at $22. Meat was flavorless and dry, came with 1 1/2 flour tortillas???, refrieds were soupy and the plate was dominated by 2 giant peppers I didnt want ... we waited almost an hour for the table as well.Servers were attentive and nice but overall very crowded and expensive for a very poorly executed basic Tex Mex entree available (and infinitely better) at dozens of places in Denver.LDP used to be a go-to. Sad to see it slip so far.

Very busy on a Tuesday but we arrived early enough to be able to get in fairly quickly with a party of 4 adults and 4 kids! Kids all loved the kid menu options! Amazing service despite them being super busy. The flavored margaritas were delicious and so was the food. We were just visiting but I wish we lived closer!

I enjoy Potrillos , not as friendly as they use to be and very much americanized Mexican foodBut not bad for social gatheringsAnd bathrooms are not so clean .
This used to be MY FAVORITE place to eat Mexican food. I truly don't know if I will return.... Yes, we had a large party, my Sister was in town, and that's where she wanted to eat. But, the last SEVERAL times I've been, the food quality has been ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! Margaritas are SUPER SWEET, My Hubby & I both got combos, cheese wasn't melted in our enchiladas or chili rellenos. His tostada was basically inedible, so was my daughter's. Both were burnt! My Grandson's shrimp was burnt, and my Son's taco meat was black! My brother & Sister-In-Law ordered fajitas, they didn't even come out sizzling! AWFUL!!!
