“Wowww.. what a surprise and amazing pizza in a place you’d never imagine! We live nearby and just stumbled across this place on Google and boy are we happy we did! The people were nice, we ordered a few pizzas and the nice guy there gave us their garlic knots for free… which were also amazing! New favorite neighborhood pizza place for us! I’d make the visit even if I lived in the city!”
“Wow!! So happy to find this place. Eleven of us celebrated our coworkers birthday at this great restaurant. The steaks were amazing. We had the dry aged bone in ribeye, the Wagyu ribeye, the baseball steak and the steak ends. The lobster was also very good. Dave the owner greeted us all during our dinner. The decor is splendid. Well worth the 30 minute drive from south Denver. This steakhouse was way better than any of the chain restaurants in the suburbs of Denver.Parking: If all the parking spaces in front of the restaurant are taken, they have their own lot just west of the gas station, a short walk to the restaurant front door.”
“My Friday Night routine.Thin crust Margherita with a little extra mozzarella a little well done. Can't go wrong and the whole crew from to go window to the delivery team are top notch folks!”
“First time here! Took a quick drive from Denver to Golden to try these breakfast burritos, they did not disappoint! Good quality and friendly staff, it was worth the drive! I’ll be back again!”
“Highly recommend this spot after a long hike! The green chile and BBQ pulled pork dishes are both top notch! Service was very friendly and accommodating. Very comfy indoor dining.”
“One of the best bbq places I've had in a good while. Personally, I thought their normal bbq sauces (house sweet, and mustard) were okay- my wife disagreed. However, they have a chipotle cherry bbq sauce that is sweet with a little bit of heat, that I absolutely loved. Their pulled pork was smoked evenly and very tender. I also had one of their cheddar and jalapeño sausages- also delicious. What really sold me was their candied ribs. These had a phenomenal flavor that fell right off the bone and melted in your mouth. I will be coming back. My wife does wish they brought back the bbq tacos, however.”
“Such great food, service, and eating area with great views. I recommend the jerk chicken because it comes with a ton of really good coleslaw that's not overly saucy.”
“The food was tasty, the staff was helpful and friendly, and like the location with the stream in the back.I got the chorizo benedict and buttermilk pancakes and both were very good. The next time I go there I'm going to get the same thing. The staff also checked in on me to ensure everything was ok and if I needed a refill on my coffee which was much appreciated.Note that I was there on a Monday in February so did not have to wait for a table or struggle with finding parking. But I can understand some of the other comments regarding during busier times the issue with parking and wait times...Can't wait to go back during warmer weather and sit outside by the stream....”
“I was looking for some good vegetarian options while we were adventuring in Golden. I came upon El Callejon and decided to check it out on a Friday afternoon. This place is a literal hole in the wall with a few tables. Don't be fooled, though! This small restaurant packs major flavor into its food. There are ample vegetarian options too. I opted for the veggie burrito. It comes filled with beans, peppers, onions, cheese, rice and probably a few other things I've missed. The sauce on it is delightful. My wife got a chicken quesadilla which came with 3 different sauces and she absolutely devoured it. The food came out fast and the prices were great for the portion sizes. Would definitely dine here again.”
“Seems to be a popular spot, and after eating there, I can see why! The ordering process is unique, easy and quick, and the food is great. The workers are also very prompt, energetic, and friendly. They have a separate grill that they use for allergen-safe meals, to lower the risk of contamination. I had two hamburgers on their gluten-free buns (the fancy kind, with the sesame seeds) and I did not get sick at all.The group I ate with all agreed that this was one of the best burger places any of us had been to, although I think that it is the best for gluten-free food. The view from their outside tables is also the best view I've ever had while eating a burger.Dietary restrictions: They use a separate grill for making allergen-safe meals. They offer gluten free buns (the fancy kind with the sesame seeds) and are careful to avoid contamination.Parking: Some parking spots outside of restaurant, but lot is shared with the restaurant next door, so it can become difficult to park if crowded. The restaurant is only 2 blocks from a public parking garage, so it is a walkable distance.Kid-friendliness: High chairs available for small children, and a kids' menu for smaller portions of food. The restaurant is also very colorful, and fun to look at.Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is wheelchair accessible, but the restaurant gets crowded easily as it is small, and it would be difficult to maneuver when crowded. The bathrooms also look pretty small.”
“Cannot wait to come back! I’ve been wanting to find a place like this for awhile. The food is amazing, the service is perfect, and we’ll be coming back soon.”
“The server, Moustafa he is very friendly, polite, fast and very clear to explain the foods to us.The food was very good, salad is very fresh .But the music a little bit to loud for us.Will come back here for sure when we visiting Golden , InshaAllah”
“Fresh, delicious Mexican, such nice owners, if you go on a warm day, get one of their incredible margarita's and sit out on the front porch. Awesome authentic and delicious dining experience in beautiful Golden. Have never had a bad meal here. LOVE it.Parking: easy to park and enjoy and grab take out. nicely located right off 58 to get going to Denver or the mountains.”
“Okay I'll be real, I got the huevos rancheros and hated it. Worst I've ever had, I was honest with the server who was really friendly and she made this experience awesome. They let us try French toast instead and it was wonderful. I felt respected and appreciated and will definitely be back to order the toast again!”
“I was like, ok, how does a place have a perfect 5 star rating? That’s not realistic. But then I took a bite - now I understand. We had to go back and order more tacos after we finished the first round because they are sooooooooooooo good.”
“We ordered a sampler to try some different coffees and were pleasantly surprised by this company. We went on to order some larger bags after that sampler and plan to keep Bivouac in our regular coffee rotation.”
“Angelica is amazing ! We always ask for her when we come here which is approximately 4 times a week . Super sweet and on top of it. Wings are always baller! And drinks of course always nice and cold. She’s the best!”
“Had a hard time picking a favorite!Views are amazing. My style does bounce all around from sours to stouts. Definitely my go to pick would be Coco bound, and then a sour note “walk in the parfait” which is a seasonal.”
“Great local option for healthy wraps, soups and falafel tots! Carnivore and vegetarian-friendly. Groovy Grateful Dead decor and hippy-wholesome feel, without the Boulder-hippy pretentiousness (if you know, you know). With a convenient location right off I-285, RMW is a great option for those wanting healthy alternatives to fast food or who want to grab a clean, energizing meal on their way up to enjoy the Colorado outdoors!Parking: Limited parking can be a challenge during busier times.”
“Really enjoyed my experience here. Inside was nice and bright. Allowed for conversation at regular volume, but could not hear other tables/patrons. Portin sizes were in line with the price and that smoked salmon eggs benedict would be worth a repeat visit 100%.”
“Barrels and Bottles has been a go-to for us for years in Golden. Ever since the Camp George one popped up we've been frequent visitors as it's closer to home. One of our favorite spots. The Nippless Cage is my fave craft pils. Dough nips are my favorite carb. And the poke in the salad is unreal. Parking can be heinous when it's busy, but that is the only complaint and ya can't blame them for creating a great place in a happening spot that people wanna be at!”
“What a gem in Evergreen! This was better than my favorite Thai food in Denver. I had the Pumpkin Curry with fried tofu. Delish! The atmosphere was simple and the wait staff was attentive. Highly recommend.Vegetarian options: Plenty of tofu options. None of the Ramen was veg.”
“Beautifully decorated, very cozy and inviting dining experience. The food is delicious, beautifully presented and delightfully spicy. The lamb masala is a savory sweet blend that really shines if you have some spice with it. The lamb vindaloo is wow! Hot! While still having a perfect vindaloo flavor. The Naan bread is fantastic, cheesy garlic is the perfect combination with vindaloo and plain garlic Naan goes well with anything. The service was wonderful, attentive, and very helpful.Nearly everything was gluten freeDietary restrictions: Nearly everything was gluten free except samosas, Naan, and the desserts”
“I was visiting Golden last weekend and stopped into Humble House for breakfast and a latte. I had the Madame Curie and the stuffed waffle with bananas and cream cheese (can’t remember what that was called) and a pistachio latte. I loved it so much, I went back for the exact same thing the following day! The coffee and food were amazing and the people/vibe are so special and unique. A true gem in Golden.”
“Great spot for drinks and food with a friend! We sat on some nice chairs next to a fireplace, felt like someone's living room.We had the homemade ricotta which was really yum. Both got the dogs; Chicago was spicy and the chili one was great. The lemonade was a bit too sweet though yummy. I had one of the special drinks with egg white, and oat milk, which I enjoyed.Bathrooms were really clean. Parking is a bit complicated but I found a spot easily in the end.Servers were friendly. Atmosphere was nice and chill with dimer lighting.”
“One of my favorite breakfast places in the metro area. Great food, service, and atmosphere. Been coming here for years.Parking: Ample parking in the areaWheelchair accessibility: Very ADA compliant.”
“There were a lot of award medals on display, so I ordered an award winning beer. SoGo Hazy IPA and Dogcatcher Red Ale, both fresh and distinct in flavor. I really liked both the grapefruit IPA and the orange Red Ale. Colorado has a lot of delicious craft beers, but this one stood out as being delicious. I want to come again. We also sell cans.”
“I needed a quick Valentine's Day gift for my husband, and I passed right by this place, so I stopped in. Quick and easy. You order on a screen. Pick whatever cookie(s) you want and pay. Then stand aside and wait for your name to be called. I think I was there, maybe 10 minutes total. My husband and best friend loved their cookies and were totally surprised.”
“This place is awesome. I'm from Chicago and a buddy took me here. The owner was working and he was the most friendly and passionate guy. You can tell he loves what he does. He was asking me question, giving samples to make sure I got something I'd like. I had one of the best coffee drinks mixed with his home made ice cream. My buddy shipped me a bag of his coffee and I used it in my espresso machine at home and it's probably the best shots I've ever pulled.”
“Foothills ground beef burrito with green chili and queso... wow! Great flavor but don't try to eat this while driving! Also Foothills pork nachos, order the smaller Evergreen with double pork. We are becoming regular repeat customers.”
