Hits the Spot Diner is a good place for great tasting diner fare. The place could use a face lift... it's looking kind of old and sad, but the food is spot on. I had the chicken fried steak skillet. Gravy and plenty of it covering two eggs, the aforementioned steak and home fries, all excellent. We came here for a Saturday breakfast, and wait wasn’t too long. About 20 mins. Food came out as fast as we ordered it. Everything was delicious for a Saturday breakfast. Make sure to get here somewhat early in the morning if you want a parking spot, it’s a small parking lot so be prepared to park somewhere else or wait it out.

This is one of my favorite places to bring people visiting from out of town! The food is amazing, the potatoes are next level, and the service is hilarious. Truly a Denver classic, and highly recommend for everybody to go at least 50
