I used to live very close to this restaurant, and now I live on the other side of the Denver metro area. But I know these tamales are worth the long treck. I got to have tamales on Christmas Eve.
It's totally fine for a pick-up/food counter type experience.Staff is efficient enough but I probably wouldn't describe them as outright friendly or solicitous.Yummy food. Very popular locally. Smells outrageously good during lunch and dinner. Always a couple of people in line or waiting.Just a counter-style place and some obligatory booths and tables make up a very sparse dine-in experience, wouldn't recommend actually eating here. Tamale Kitchen is one of those places that you really need to find out what they do well. I wasn't overly impressed with the Tamales and lunch type food, but oh man are the breakfast burritos on point! Highly recommend! If you're looking for a filling morning meal this is the place. They also agree with my little tum tum too. It's kind of a hole in the wall joint, but some of the best places are. Definitely hit up Tamale Kitchen for your breakfast burrito needs!
