“Perfect name for the perfect Spur of the Moment or planned place to visit!We chose this place as a place to go for St Patrick’s Day and it was great.The steak is great and I Loved the shrimp and of course have to have truffle fries if on the menu.The serve a great Guinness!We had the pleasure of Amanda serving us and she was on spot, courtiers and so fast! - so if you want the meat service in the house ask for her!She showed up every time My drink was empty and had to try another special.Hate to give away a hidden gem but they deserve the props!Thank you for a great time! Will be back with the family for the pool tables and shuffle board tables!Thank you for a great time!”

“We stayed at the Jellystone RV park and ended up here because it was close by. She is the best pizza I've ever had and the employees are great! Tried the Pineapple Express Pizza and it was amazing.”

“We went here for the first time and had lunch. I had the carne asada and chicken street tacos, a side of rice and a side of refried beans. I really enjoyed the street tacos. The rice was pretty good, a little sticky, but it had good flavor. The beans were just Okay. My wife had a bean and cheese burrito which she enjoyed. Our server was very attentive. I may have missed it, but I didn't see combination plates that include beans and rice. If it's not offered, maybe something to consider. 2 tacos, a side of beans and a side of rice I thought was a little pricey, but it is a small, local business. Maybe offer one bowl of chips and salsa as part of a dine-in meal?? Overall, we liked it and we will be back...”

“As lucky as you can get during Restaurant Week, we were seated by the owner Kim and really lucked out with our server Sam. Kim was so gracious as she told us about how we could order. When Sam came to take our order she helped us select the right delicious dishes for our dinner.The restaurant itself is modernized Old City Castlerock and is really cool. It has been serving up awesome dishes for 19 years. The Denver Restaurant Week menu is fantastic with your choice of 3 appetizers, 4 main course delights and last but NOT least 5 dessert choices. When it’s not restaurant week the menu selections multiply not to mention the beverages, for instance they offer you a choice of many different vodka, gin and rum drinks not to mention wine and beer and nonalcoholic selections to choose from. Simply put, The Union has everything you would want to feast on and the portions and service will be everything you could possibly hope for.Next time you’re looking for a fantastic dining experience come to The UNION Bistro, you’ll be glad you did.Parking: There is plenty of parking but when you first arrive you might think it’s crowded. Just look you find a perfect parking space.”

“The shop is absolutely beautiful with stunning views. The upper patio is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of their amazing coffee, it was smooth with great flavor. The girls working were super friendly and welcoming . This little gem is the best coffee shop in Castle Rock!”

“Tamales, fish tacos and the fish plate were all great! All were hearty portions and cost seemed be reasonable. $8 for 2 fish tacos is a great deal since each covered 2 tortillas and were smothered in the fixings with nice slices of avocado to boot.Fish is heavy on the breading, but a great taste.Tamales were hot and large. Much better size than the ones you get at the farmers market on Saturdays in Monument.We don’t do a lot of food trucks, but they have a nice setup. You order, and they provide a pager so you can wait in your car. Food was all piping hot when we got home which was about 3 miles away where they were parked at the Santa Fe trailhead in Monument.Warning - The green salsa is quite hot. Maybe ask for an alternate needed.Definitely will visit again, if only to try the other salsas. ?”

“This place is great, it has Giraffe in the logo for heavens sake and a book tree. The icing on the cake is all tips go towards charity’s like pet shelters. What a great business model and my wife and I are always happy to visit for a coffee and potentially a cake ;-)”

“My friend and I shared the cornbread. It was incredible, possibly the best cornbread of my life. I had the pasta primavera. I'm vegetarian and a lot of times the vegetarian option at a regular restaurant is pretty bland, but this was incredible. I ate every bite. Our server had a good sense of humor. I had a couple drinks, one with buffalo in the name and it was very tasty as well.Vegetarian options: There were just a few options as usual with a meat based restaurant, but they were good options.”

The Hot Shot Green Chili Blonde is bonkers good, as is the Little London English Brown -- I'm a sucker for a tasty brunette! Chatty folks with people not glued to phone screens which is so rare now...side rant: I really wish more places would ban screens at the bar! Limited menu but the pulled pork was great and I see they have food trucks on the regular. I just might have to stay in town longer!”

“There are absolutely NO WORDS to beat everything about this delightful craft cocktail lounge! I cannot begin to explain how utterly fantastic this place is. Their motto, "Refreshment for the journey ahead" fits extremely well with them. I felt so relaxed, refreshed, and happy here. They have an excellent selection of libations. Food was beyond tasty. The service was amazing. Our bartender was Tyler was a whiz making everything that was asked of him, especially when he made a double pour! For food, we had the charcuterie board, short rib tacos, wagyu cheeseburger, and ended with my favorite dessert, crème brûlée ! Plenty of couches and sitting areas, with little tables for drinks.”
