Came here 3 years ago for new years eve and had to wait 3 hours for my takeout order...not exaggerating a bit! Came tonight, 3 years later, hoping to give them a second chance and maybe they had improved....still waited 31 min for my takeout. Sushi is unremarkable, definitely not worth the wait. I'm surprised they have lasted this long with service and orders taking this long

Food was 31 minutes late. I get it’s a Friday night, I get y’all are busy, but can you at least come up with a remotely realistic time estimate for online orders? You guys have been presumably open for years, I’d think that you could at least somewhat closely predict that by now.

This place was amazing! The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. I don't know how many times I've passed it, and I finally decided to stop. This is one of my favorite sushi spots hands down!

Tried this place for the first time and the sushi was awesome along with the friendly staff. Don't let the exterior keep you away. I will definitely be back.

Excellent service. The Spicy Ramen soup is absolutely fantastic, filling and spicey. It gets your nose running. The purple saki is amazing, strong and seemingly endless. Try the potstickers and edemame

I have visited Sawa Sushi many times. Since moving to Littleton from elsewhere in the Denver metro years ago, it has become my “go-to” sushi destination. The chefs are consistently excellent in their preparation, their presentation and their portions - and, they consistently hit the mark on their recipes with exceptional flavor combinations and superior tasting dishes. The servers are always attentive, polite, courteous and helpful. They all, front and back of house, obviously pay attention to maintaining the strictest hygiene standards and cleanliness. The ambience is always appropriate, pleasant, not too loud or quiet, not too dark or light. The building is older, maybe not as “romantic” due to its former life as a Pizza Hut, but you forget all about that when you dig into your favorite dish. May I suggest a few things to increase your pleasure? Take three people with you and order the Family Boat! You will all leave very satisfied and the price is very reasonable per person for a party of four. Also, you cannot go wrong with their special rolls - the Volcano, Black Dragon and Sex on the Beach rolls are always a big hit with my guests. Their Miso Soup is excellent, their Dynamite appetizer is exactly that - Dynamite! The sashimi is cold and thick, as it should be, generously presented and mouthwateringly delicious. Plan to have a fantastic meal and do not hesitate to get adventurous if you are a novice - everything is amazing! Very pleased with Sawa and it is my wife’s favorite as well.

Sushi is very goodRamen is the best in the southwest metroBoth come out fast enough for a 50-minute lunch breakI have been there a few dozen times and the food is always quick and the place is rarely busy even on peak evenings. None of the other businesses lasted very long over the years in this old Pizza Hut building but Sawa even survived COVID

I was lucky to have the establishment to myself with my brother. Music was low, watched some football, water was always refilled without hesitation or waiting. The food was phenomenal... prob best sushi in town for a land locked state. Like all sushi in America, I do feel like less sauce that comes on it would be make it better but that's my opinion. I would recommend this place.

This was the best restaurant experience we've had in a long time! They blew us away with their level of friendly and speedy service despite how busy they were. We got the sashimi sushi combo for two and it was delicious. I would highly highly recommend this place. Thank you Sawa!

My wife and I go here a lot and we pretty much get the same thing everytime. Well Sawa not only remembers you but also remembers the small things like my wife liking lots of Daikon and everything to be saucy!! They are amazing and you wont leave hungry!

I ordered takeout 15min after they opened in hopes there wouldn’t be a long wait. I was told 15-20min so I arrived after 20min. They didn’t even start my rolls until I arrived and there were only 4 people at the restaurant. I waited almost 20min at the restaurant for my takeout. On top of that, it’s the third time we have tried it and overall just disappointed. Rolls are swallowed in sauces, weird ratios of ingredients. They’re so close, I want it to work, so I keep trying, but we have consistently been left unsatisfied.

This place is no doubt the GOAT of sushi. Im from the east coast and we have lots of good sushi restaurants all along the eastern seaboard and it’s been extremely difficult to find good sushi in the greater Denver area. Not only do I love the sushi here but all of my friends and family also agree that this is the best sushi spot. Not only quality but also affordable. Let’s just say I’ve been to the sushi spot three times in the last week for a reason. I personally love the red dragon roll, and the sex on the beach roll. I’ll see you guys later this week! Thanks for being awesome.
