“These are some of the most chill people. I usually come here for their tacos and horchata. The fact that they don't use salt or pepper makes it better since the flavor is on their salsa. Always get their most spicy salsa. You get free salt and pepper packets if you want the spices, which honestly it isn't necessary. You have to get here early if you want their horchata. “The kids wanted pancakes and we thought about going to IHOP but decided to spend money on a local restaurant. Janie's was the perfect spot! It's cozy but still has a lot of tables (mostly 4 person booths). We ordered kids pancakes (cute shape and face!), regular pancakes, a smothered burrito and huevos rancheros. Everything was yummy and portions were large. I was especially glad that the green chile was vegetarian since I don't eat pork and often can't order huevos rancheros at other restaurants. All the staff was very friendly and especially nice to our toddler. We'll definitely be back!“

“Love their breakfast burritos and just tryed there tacos and I got the meal 3 tacos beans and rice and wow beans and rice where good and I got the Barbacoa tacos they where good the meat didn’t really have any good tasting seasoning on it I was looking for more flavor and I’ve hand many different kinds it just felt bland but I did get the one of the side options some green chili from there breakfast burritos and that satisfied my tast for a Mexican taco but definitely liked and will definitely recommend and will go back to try again with there other options“

I added their red salsa and it was just the kick I needed! This is a must try! Every time I've gone the service has been great and I love the murals there. They add a really nice touch to the space!“

“Some of the BEST tacos and enchiladas I've ever had, right in Downtown Longmont. My family and I have been going to Bennys since they first opened. This family run restaurant has incredible authentic food, like I had growing up! Great customer service, accommodating, and good quality. Only downside is sometimes they seem low staffed and food can take a little longer to get to you. And the dining area is pretty small. Less than 10 tables in the establishment. Definitely get the Sopapilla! It's *muah* chefs kiss!“
“The best Mexican food in town. The prices for the food are reasonable, drinks are expensive, but where aren't they. Daily specials are a great deal. Try them for lunch they have your meal very quick. The salsa is a little above mild but the grand kids love it. There green chili is just the right spicy. “Best tacos I’ve have anywhere in Colorado. I have tried at least 15 taco trucks in Denver, most of the taco trucks in Longmont and even a couple down in Pueblo and Ft. Morgan. These tacos are the best, they stick to a couple of favorites and just put all the effort into them, they even have tlacoyos, if you haven’t tried them give them a go.“
“These tacos have the potential to be the best in Longmont but for some reason the barbacoa, birria, suadero and carnitas tacos all have a really weird taste to them, almost as if the water they use for them soaks into the meat. The asada and tripa and pastor don’t have this taste and are great. Really hope they fix it because they have the potential to be the best. Their salsas are also very good!“

We took a day trip to Longmont from Fort Collins (nothing even close to these tacos there) we ordered a few tacos, ate them, left to get a few beers and came back for more before heading back. “I am Mexican who is on vacation in Longmont and I can tell you that this place sells food with Mexican flavor and cuisine (NOT TEX-MEX!) which was a pleasant surprise for me since I have found places that only have Mexican name. My friend and I ate Consome con carne (Birria), carnitas cake, as well as asada and chicken tacos; Everything tasted good, the service was excellent (they were very friendly) and I think the price is between or below US standards. Highly recommended place!PS: I don't know if they had them since I didn't realize, but to improve they should offer a little chili and chopped onion to put in the birria.Parking: They are set up in the parking lot of a liquor store and have at least 7 car spaces.“

As someone that prefers green chile in my breakfast burrito, this is fighting to be the best tinfoil wrapped breakfast burrito to go in Longmont. I'd say the best when prices is factored in. (Josie's tacos is very close and if you like saltier flavors that is the one to get.) My employees & customers get most excited for this one on Breakfast Burrito Day.The burrito is a superior version of a more well known breakfast burrito place down the street, which tends to burn the eggs. The SF 2.0 green chile sauce and tortilla are also a notch up from that place.“
“This little hole in the wall place serves simple, authentic dishes, and they are really good. I had a barbacoa plate, served with fresh, hot tortillas. I also tried the carnitas, lengua en salsa roja, and we bought a variety of pan dulce to take home. The meat in all of the dishes was very tender and the sauces were deliciously spicy. The breads were very soft and fresh. There was plenty of food and the prices were reasonable. The service was friendly and quick. We'll come back often!“
“I'm rarely in Longmont, but the occasional times I am and near Marcos Hot Dogs & Tacos, I stop. Their hot dogs are quite unique and tasteful! I love that they have out lots of garnishments, pico, and salsas to add. The staff is very friendly and joyful! Delicious quick food!!“
