We were visiting Pueblo and wanted to try something on the riverwalk. We arrived on a weekday afternoon and they weren't busy. We were told that in order to sit on the patio we needed to go outside and down steps/ramp a bit further down. The hostess upstairs said there was no hostess on the patio so to sit where we liked and someone would find us. No problem except one of the two wait staff downstairs wasn't happy and she let us know we should not have chose a table on our own....read full review

We stopped for lunch at Angelo's while driving from Taos to Colorado Springs. It was easy to find it off Interstate 25 and the fact that it was located on the Riverwalk was a draw for us. Although it must be known for its pizza, there were lots of other menu options. We ordered the Italian Hero sandwich and the Spinach Salad. Both were delicious. Angelo’s used to have the best lasagna in town and one of my favorite anywhere. I preferred the spinach lasagna which is no longer on the menu but the others used to be good as well. They started serving them in individual dishes a maybe a year ago. The lasagna has gone from the best to the worst. I decided to give it another try and it was even worse than I remembered.
