“Lance was our server and he was great. If you have not had tapas before this was great. But tapas are not a lot of food. But it's a great way to try a lot of different dishes. Really liked that it was not crazy loud. Would go back again.“
“We really love this restaurant. We came here twice during our stay in Vail. The food and service are the best around. It’s not a fancy restaurant but the food is so good , you’ll want to come back again too. Great steaks and seafood for half the price of Vail Village and more for your money. Try the strip steak, salmon or short rib Mac and cheese. You won’t be disappointed.“
“The salmon and short ribs were excellent. The strip was fatty, and therefore, not as enjoyable. Would not order that again. The truffle gnocchi was amazing. The bok choy has a good flavor but would have been better if it was been cut. It was hard to cut on the plate. The decor was great, the noise level was very high so not a great restaurant for deep conversation. Service was fantastic“
“My group of 6 rarely eats out at expensive places, and we were seriously amazed at how good everything tasted!! We tried almost every dish on the menu, and tried every single dessert. We all thought everything was absurdly good and would especially recommend the lamb, wagyu steak, and scallop fagottini! We loved every single dessert, but the sticky toffee pudding cake knocked our socks off and was the entire groups favorite!“
“Went to Mountain Standard twice during my week in Vail. John, manager of the bar, took my name and found me bar seats within 30 minutes both times. Great food. Don’t miss the group special for two!!Vegetarian options: Salads. Baba Ganoush.“
“Fun bar and food was surprisingly good. We had our 2y old with us and he was on the verge of going berserk. The waiter double timed our order. Very much appreciated the quick service. The adults without kids there seemed to be having a good time too.“
“This is the only true ski bar in vail. The best place to have a beer after a day on the hill. The vibes are unbeatable. I love all the art on the wall. It can get busy but the bartenders always get you a drink quickly. Special shoutout to bartender Zac who remembers me every year when I visit.“
“We travel once a year to ski beaver creek and always return to Up The Creek in Vail for the magnificent view. Fantastic food. Excellent service. And everything else you can think of!!! Love the kefir lime in chicken tortilla soup! I love the relaxed atmosphere.“
“My friend and I had a lovely dining experience! The wine chosen for us by Anthony was spot on, the appetizers were very nice but the cod was fantastic. Our server, Kelly was so much fun! She was knowledgeable, funny and took great care of us!!“
“We arrived early and went to the Sonnenalp lounge, had a drink and listened to live music. When our table was ready, we found it easy to talk around the table without yelling. The staff bent over backwards to make our time spent comfortable and all the food choices pleased each sitting at the table. My Brussels spouts side and char main plate were fantastic. We come here every time we're in Vail.“
“From a wedding photographer's perspective, you really can't beat the Larkspur wedding experience! Stunning mountain views all around, an incredibly beautiful and intimate reception space, and can host one heck of a party! We recently photographed a wedding in the fall at peak colors, and WOW! The whole valley was ablaze!“
“We had a group of 3 people and sat out on the deck, looking at the golf course and the stunning mountain views. You can't beat that outdoor patio dining area with those views.I loved my beet salad with grilled Mahi-Mahi. My husband had the Cobb salad and our friend had the Philly Steak sandwich, both which were tasty. They have a good selection of beers on tap.“
“Cool little place with delicious cocktails and food."wine-bar" isn't accurate, only had cocktails and they were all great. Food was simple but elevated and extremely well done. Would 1000% recommend this place and will be back.“
