OMG AFGHAN KABOB. I know I'm a little late to the party for this place, but I finally got there for lunch today (still in the parking lot, actually?) and I have the happiest overstuffed tummy in the world right now! I had the Qabeli Pallow (a lamb shank & rice dish), falafel, bread & chai tea with rosewater. There are lots of Middle Eastern restaurants in the Denver Metro Area, but this is the only one that serves Afghan food that I am aware of. First time back since the pandemic began, noticed the price has gone up by 15% to 20% which is not outrageous considering everything has gotten more expensive these days. We had to come here twice during our trip to Denver because the food was so good. The menu has a lot of classic Afghan dishes. The venue is large with lots of seating and a lunch buffet. The entrées were delicious and some of my favorites were the chapli kebab and qabuli rice. It's a self-service restaurant but the staff are really nice.
