“I was in Lakewood for a visit, saw the sign and thought, "I wonder if that's the same place that we practically lived in, 48 years ago? " I was expecting our son, and their spaghetti & meatballs was the only thing that I consistently craved. Much to my delight, it is!! Fabulous salad, complete with the shredded provolone and truly perfect bread. But the moment I had the pasta, it brought me right back! The sauce is still rich, so flavorful and the traditional thick, yet tender noodles make it near perfect! Also, the same generous portions. No "shrink-flation" here.Thank you for the trip down memory lane. We've been gone from the area since 1984, and don't visit much. This will draw us back more often.Also, I would be remiss if I didn't mention the friendly and attentive servers and host. Way to go, Amici's!Kid-friendliness: This is still a family-friendly, kid-friendly restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: I use a rollator, they have made it very easy to get around safely.“
“I went for lunch and dessert today for the first time. It was busy, and hard to figure out where the line was going. My sausage calzone was very good, although my leftovers were better once I popped them in my toaster oven and got it hotter and the bread crisp than it was when it was served. The desserts were fantastic! I tried the mini pistachio cannoli, pistachio cookies, almond and pine nut amaretti cookies too--all fabulous! The desserts are widely varied...I wanted everything!! But it is expensive: my 6 cookies and 2 mini cannolis were just under $20. Ouch. But I know these kinds of things are a lot of work to bake, so I guess that's why. I hope to get there again sometime, though it's far from my area.“
“This place is amazing, the menu regularly changes, but I got a meet-za type of pizza that was wonderful. We also had their PB&J Wings which you wouldn't think would work, but really did. Server was very friendly and professional. I'll be back soon!“
“Went to the 44th street location today for lunch. Opens at 11 AM which is great. The beers at New Image are quite unique. Some incredibly hoppy double and triple NE IPAs. And some incredible barrel aged stouts. The Old Town Arvada location is a great place for burgers and sandwiches. But the pizza that is only served at this location, is top notch! Unique ingredients, very thin crust.“

“Excellent wood fired pizza. Creative recipes and pizza names. The oven is very small so during any busy times the hand crafted pizza takes some time. Fortunately there is a ton of some of the best craft beer in Colorado available on tap to drink while you wait.“
“Woah!!! I was looking around, trying to find the best Italian food in Denver... And there's always the fussy Italian food that is kind of expensive and not like grandma used to make... And I stumbled across Grammys and read some of the reviews and thought this is perfect. I think my husband will love this. He grew up With his grandma making spaghetti sauce for days... Foremost, the food is absolutely delicious... We happen to know that we love, Clyde, Sausage, and the fact that they serve it is amazing and so delicious... The garlic knots are as big as my hand... We were so impressed and they're really delicious and somehow kind of light and fluffy... My husband had the lasagna and the portion was huge. I'm pretty sure that we're going to have lasagna for at least 2 to 3 more meals and I had fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and it was divine and the portions were huge. I'm sure I'm gonna eat that for days as well... Our eyes got really big when we saw the desserts and the goodies... they were so yummy looking The best thing about this place is the old-school red and white checkered tablecloth and friendly service and the fact that this is a family business just made our heart happy... While we were sitting there, we noticed a poster apparently this place was on Guy Fieri Diners DriveIns and Dive... I can see why... It's old-school and we love it. It's my new husband's favorite place. It reminds him of days of old.“
