I already knew Sal'z Pizza in Bethel cared about the community because of their sponsorship/support for the Danbury Hat Tricks pro hockey team. What I didn't know is that they are the kind of business that backs up said support with really solid hospitality in their establishment. A long overdue review.. since I've ordered here a few times the last few years. Philly egg rolls are amazing. Meat lasagna is passable, not enough meat sauce I like my lasagna smothered with sauce and the sauce was bland and has way more pasta for me and not enough ricotta. Pizza is decent. Perfectly cooked thin crust, standard amount of toppings although I can use more onions.. (my personal preference) and just average sauce. Ordered 3 large pizza's last night. Very disappointed with the amount of sausage on the 2 sausage and pepper pies. For what they charge for toppings should have more then 1 or 2 pieces of sausage on each piece. They were also 1/2 hr late for delivery. Only ordered from them because our normal place is closed on Monday's. Not sure will be ordering from again.
