“Outstanding place for high quality Italian. The staff is really fantastic and makes every effort to ensure you have an experience that keeps you coming back time and time again. Great Martinis and there's a reason everyone says get the pasta!Parking: Valet unless you can find something on the street.“
“Came down to watch the game and have some food. I love the fresh made gnocchi colognes, fantastic! My buddy had the gnocchi Della casa with added calamari, OUTSTANDING!!. Price has a bearing. But there is no room for discussion about the freshness or quality of food. For posting purposes, $20 is very inexpensive for the quality here. Totally recommend this place“
“Delicious prepared foods substantial for anytime of day. Imported foods, espresso served here, salads with protein, beans, homemade soup, beef stew, panini, ,chocolates, cookies, gift baskets, and very famous gelato with many delicious flavors from the family! I just brought home a gelato Baby Cake for my husbands birthday with an original gelato recipe and it is fabulous. Grab dinner in their cold fridges.“
“Nestled away from North Main Street is this hidden gem of Italian food. Their marinara sauce is delicious and their portions are just right. It can be a little noisy but it's a good dinner spot for the area ( even if it may take a minute to find parking don't let that deter you.)Parking: Not a lot of parking but worth the effort.“
“There were 4 of us and everything we ordered was delicious. More than enough options to choose from. Service was great. Atmosphere great. Glad we had a reservation because every table was occupied. We can't wait to go back and try something different!“
“Been here a couple times & the food is absolutely AMAZING! Staff is super friendly & attentive, restaurant is clean & has a great set up! I can't recommend a certain dish because last time going there for an event everything we had was delicious the pasta was cooked perfectly, the bread was warm & fluffy & the pizza was like heaven lol I wish we lived closer to come here all the time!!Thanks for everything!“
“I go about every month & so and really enjoy the well-priced apps and mains. Nice casual mood w/Italian "flavor." Very good service. Some very good specials though I tend to get Veal LoMonico--two pieces of veal each topped with prosciutto & cheese, Excellent sauce--Plus side of pasta! Portions are generous--always enough to take home tomorrow's lunch.Parking: Easy--Wheelchair accessibility: Good ramps--indoors on one level.“
“I have never had anything that wasn't enjoyable to eat here. I love the Crostini Hash that is homemade. Their French toast is fabulous. And there is nothing like their sausage and peppers ( no green peppers on red so it's not bitter) I can't say enough about this place, small and local,“
“Went for lunch and drinks. Always greeted right away when you walk in. Staff is always very attentive. Sat at that bar. Ordered espresso martinis with baileys added. The best martinis, they make fresh espresso right at the bar for your martini. I ordered the burratta appetizer, crostini with burratta, fig jam, prosciutto, arugula and balsamic glaze. So good, I order it everytime. Then for the first time I ordered a pizza. They are the size of a small. I ordered the escarole, white bean and truffle mashed potatoes. Was really looking forward to trying this, so to my surprise it wasn't that good. The pizza crust is very thin which I am a fan of, however it was over cooked. Way too crispy. And I know it didn't say it on the menu but just figured there would be cheese on it well there wasn't. Nothing really to hold the items on the pizza perhaps that's why it was so crispy. It needed to be so that everything didn't fall off the piece of pizza. We were there for over 4 hours just catching up with friends and having couple cocktails. Never felt rushed by any staff member to get up and leave. Small bar so it was nice to not feel rushed. It is one of my favorite restaurants. Will definitely be back again and again. Just next time I will stick to what I know I love.“
“While visiting from Florida, we got UberEats from this restaurant and all our food was good but the pesto gnocchi will haunt my dreams forever. It was the best pasta dish I’ve ever had and am so sad I can’t get it again. I’ve been chasing that gnocchi dragon since, but everywhere else pales in comparison.“
“My other favorite pizza now. New haven has ruined pizza for me because it's so good and Pacileos is part of that. Their pizza is amazing thin crust and absolutely delicious. What I like about theirs over other new haven pizzas is its bigger more filling so im not as hungry. But it's also more affordable. And the staff Is sooo nice! Their cheese pizza is my favorite so delictible and yummy. Always get a pie on my way out of Connecticut ? Everyone should come try! They have lots of indoor seating as well :)Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie pizzas and a saladDietary restrictions: Labeled menuParking: There's a free lotKid-friendliness: Perfect for kids lots of spaceWheelchair accessibility: Aplenty of space for wheel chair !!!“
“I absolutely love this salad bar. It's always fresh. The food is outstanding and I NEVER buy premade meals. However, this is my go-to. Anything I've ordered here is delicious and made with good ingredients. I highly recommend. Staff is always friendly and helpful!“
“Very good to excellent pizza but not really a sit down type place. No atmosphere at all. Table attendant seemed surprised that we dined in.pizza was good ,well priced and huge for a "medium",but I probably would just get it to go next time.Update: got an extra large with sausage and mushrooms to go for 22 dollars and change. This pizza was easily the best I've had on the shoreline in my entire life. The decor and service still need work but their pizza just can't be beat. Prices very good too.Truly excellent.“
“I've been a couple of times & have enjoyed Cafe Fiore. The food is solid & their prices are good. They have a great ladies night on Tuesdays & a very nice happy hour selection, both for drinks and and apps The first server who waited on us was a really lovely, seasoned waiter - zero complaints. Our server the last time was sweet but we didn't see her as much as we'd have liked. The menu is standard nice Italian restaurant menu with a couple of Cafe Fiore specials. Again, solidly prepared. It is popular and usually busy, with a crowd mostly on the older side. Cafe Fiore is very comfortable, you'll enjoy your meal and you will be happy with the check. I will definitely be back. Very happy to have another local place to frequent!“
“I was there Friday 2.15 and the restaurant is very lovely and the service was great and the food was tasty and you can taste the fresh ingredients, I had the minestrone soup and the penne a la vodka, I was very happy with the flavors and the large portions..I will definitely be returning..it was 2 for $35 for lunch 2 appetizers, soup or salad, 2 entress and 2 desserts so I didnt end up using my Groupon..Riesling wine was delish!“
