I picked the Lobster Shack for my birthday dinner with friends. We didn't realize it was a theme night with a different menu and the lower portion of the restaurant was packed. We were seated upstairs. They were a bit inundated, but we weren't in a rush. I ordered a lobster roll (minus the lemon) and it was very good. Will definitely visit again.
We took a drive last week on 2/9/2024 and wound up in East Haven. After looking over the cute downtown and beach area, we lucked into The Lobster Shack. So very glad we did. This is a super cute two story across the street from the beach. They offer two levels of seating with indoor and outdoor available on both levels (in season). Great place by the shore, wished it was a bit warmer that day. The selection for lunch was excellent with many choices. I went with the chicken salad and enjoyed that with my Corona. The view is outstanding and right across from the ocean so it was great to have sunlight and an ocean view even if chilly. Really enjoyed my time there looking forward to to going back with others who love the beach!
