“With warm weather in June, we sat outside on The Oak Patio to watch musician Timmy Maia cover well-known songs. The Oak Patio serves the TimeOut Sports & Pizza Bar menu which includes usual pub fare such as burgers, gourmet pizza, appetizers, salads and sandwiches plus a few high end dinners. Full bar with craft beers in addition to a good selection of wine. Arrive early if you want to sit in the comfortable sectional and seatings in front of the stage inside the fenced in area. Our friends got there an hour before the show and we still could only be seated at a table for four outside the fence, which allows diners to see the entertainment but through the iron bars.All of our food and drinks were very good and served in a timely manner: coconut shrimp, calamari and nachos for starters. Kobe burger with bacon and fried egg; French dip handheld sandwich with sliced beef, cheddar and au jus; Jerry Pizza with mushrooms and pepperoni.My partner, an old friend of Timmy's wanted to say hi during intermission so we went through the lobby of the Doubletree hotel by Hilton Hotel where this venue is located in Bristol, and went inside the enclosure so they could shake hands, catch up and take some photos. It's a nice place to get out and have a meal with or without a band. There's a lot of greenery, palms, plants and white lights under a white tented roof for the enclosed main area.“

Even with a lactose intollerance, I can have the small serving of ice cream offered with the senior meal. Thank you!Wish there was still a shop in Torrington. “Why do people go next door to McDonalds when for just about the same price as a combo meal they could get a freshly made healthier dinner (tasting better) ? I don’t get it !! Place is always clean, food fresh & hey, dessert at Carvel right there too !!! Come On folks, support a locally owned small chain business please ! Call ahead, your in and out of there quicker than drive thru! You won’t regret it !“
“HIGHLY RECOMMEND -- Rodd's on the Go and Gina has helped me almost on a daily basis, through: - On the Go: Having the fridges full for me to grab something on the go for dinner that I can heat up at home for myself and my family. I have sent her meals as gifts, and everyone who tries them, loves them and go back as customers. - Meal Prep: I had my annual wellness visit and the doctor told me I need to start focusing on what I eat. From there I spoke with Gina and she created a plan for me, where I was able to see instant results. - Special Orders/Catering: Each weekend I go to a buddies house. Gina has made me special orders of Soup, Casseroles, Stuffed Breads, etc. where I was able to pick them up on the weekend. She is my go to for all catering such as birthdays, etc. If you haven't checked it out, I highly recommend you do.“

“There is a lot of mixed reviews on here about this place so let me give an updated honest review. I've been to multiple Jakes Wayback locations over the years and this was by far the best one. The burgers were cooked perfect, everything was fresh, the place was very clean and the service was fantastic.“
“Upon arrival, there is plenty of parking. As you enter the establishment, you seat yourself, and within seconds, the staff is already asking you for your drink order. Gotta love a staff that is superior in customer service. It's always busy there, but yet, my food arrives at my table within 8 to 12 minutes. The food is very delicious, and priced even better. My visits are always perfect. No complaints at all. I definitely recommend Rodds to everyone ??“
