Easy going guy who makes compromises on products in the display cabinets. I've grabbed dinner walking home from them a few times and each time the chicken was always juicy, crunchy and they always toss in extra sauce.“

“This location tends to have fresher items then their Waterbury counterparts. My husband and I each bought a Classic Chicken Sandwich for ourselves and when I asked for "extra pickles" on mine, they delivered! The bag the sandwich comes in even had pickles in it! It was all absolutely delicious!! We also tried the strawberry biscuit and it was definitely better than the Waterbury locations I've tried, but still not gooey fresh like they show in the commercial.“

“This place was my very first experience with jamaican food, and I wouldn't have it any other way. The food here is super delicious and always has me craving it. From the jerk pork to the fried chicken, it's all top notch food. The atmosphere is great and is super homey. The service is on another level though: my personal experiences have been great anytime I go, I practically feel like family each time I go up to order. The preparation process was accidentally developed by a patron who, as the story goes, was often so sociable that his wings would get cold waiting for him at his table. He’d request they get tossed back into the fryer and a sauced a second time, which turned out to be a great combo. The second round of preparations created a fall off the bone wing and a crystallization of the hot sauce.These wings have been praised by countless outlets.Personally I found the wings to be very good, but they wouldn’t top my best wings in America list. My wing obsessed friends have lead me to many wing joints over the years and while I think J Timothy’s would be in the same conveseration as other top spots, I’d ultimately prefer some of the competitors.The decor in the pub was fantastic and I’d love to spend an entire night, late into the evening, with friends here.
