We eat here about once a month, and the food is always fabulous. The father is in the kitchen cooking, and his sons are in the dining room serving. The sons are always very welcoming, helpful, and entertaining. We were there last Saturday for another great meal. First time here. We had brussels sprouts as appetizer...crispy and out of this world.Branzino and spaghetti cacio e pepe as main course. Both served table side. Excellent!!Bottle of chianti classico. This is by far the best restaurant I've been to in the CT. We will definitely be back and bring lots of friends??????????
Castello's is always crazy on holidays and so we were prepared for it. Wait time for the table was pretty short, and the kitchen must have been slammed. Typically service here shines, but we were not checked on as we usually are when dining there. My dinner was ‘meh' .. was supposed to be spicy and it was not.
