Restaurantji's Enfield guide: Where to find the ultimate Mexican flavors.
“The food here is amazing! I got the strawberry cream french toast and it was delicious! The fruit was fresh and the cream was so sweet. No need for additional syrup. Their fried home fries are so good as well! Price is really good for the food quality and portions!“
“Alberto's food truck, Cinco de Mayo, is an absolute gem in Enfield, CT. Alberto's professionalism shines through in every aspect of his service. The Mexican cuisine he crafts is nothing short of extraordinary – undoubtedly the best I've ever tasted. Beyond his culinary talents, Alberto's warm personality adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience. I wholeheartedly give him a well-earned 5 out of 5 stars. If you're hosting a party or company function, don't hesitate to consider Alberto and his fantastic food truck – it's a guaranteed crowd-pleaser!“
“Went there about 11 p.m. and the drive thru was about 6 cars deep, waiting in line 2 different cars pulled in the lot and they both went inside. I pulled out of line, parked and walked in behind the 2 costumers after a while I was greeted by the cashier he took my order but it wouldn't go through. After the 3rd attempt he asked for assistance and the manager told him the register doesn't take walk in orders, the guys ahead of me were Door Dash Orders which was explained to me by the manager. When I got back outside there was like 12 cars in line now. I really didn't want it but because of the long line I drove two lots over and I ate at McDonald's that night. Only 4 cars deep.“

“Food was good except I had to ask for fresh carnitas cuz what they had in the line was old dried and crusty looking. They were able to give me some from the online order side. I came into the store and there was no toilet paper. I went in line and told them while ordering that there was none. 10 minutes into my meal they still haven't replaced and they aren't busy. They also have only 1 bathroom so it really should be kept on top of. Also it smelled a bit in there and the floor didn't look that clean.“
“We had the salsa and chips for the complimentary appetizer and my wife had the fried red snapper whole fish and I had the cod. Tacos with the salsa rice and salad they were both delicious and we both had the house margaritas with our meals which were humongous. Our host gave us a complimentary dessert which was choirs with chocolate sauce. We will defiantly be back to try their other choices. Thank you Miguel for an excellent meal.“

“YOU MUST EAT HERE!Don't even get me started on my love of Bueno Y Sano. I started eating their burittos when I was an undergraduate student at Umass Amherst in 1997. Of course, part of what I love so much about the restaurant is the memories and nostalgia of the wonderful times spent at the Amherst location. However, the food is absolutely phenomenal. The burittos are big (they roll fatties), flavorful and delicious. The tortillas are perfection. The ingredients are top-notch. The salsa at the salsa bar has been the same delicious, homemade flavor since the day I first tasted it. Truth be told...I've stopped in the restaurant a time or two just to fill a little salsa container so I could get my fix. I'm not sorry about it.While the menu has expanded, the classics have not changed. Chicken, steak, shrimp, or veggie only burittos are perfect and delicious. I have been to the locations in Northampton, Springfield, West Springfield, and Amherst. The food is perfect ? at all of them. Folks, my wife (also Umass alum) and I have flown back from cities all over the world (literally) to find our way back to "Bueno" because we love it so much!! That's how delicious and perfect it is.If anyone ever tells you, "I don't get why you love Bueno Y Sano so much." Or "It's just ok. " Those are NOT your people. They are the same people who probably say they don't like dogs. Don't trust them.Mr. Bob Lowry. I don't know you, but damn it man...I LOVE YOU! You did it, my friend. Thanks to you and the family of employees who make this restaurant chain amazing! ❤️???“
“Good food in little old Enfield. Acapulco serves up the Tex-Mex cuisine that's evolved from Mexican, Texan, Californian, and other influences. Certainly not "authentic Mexican," the food is familiar and comforting. The food is much milder and less aggressively spiced than Tex-Mex closer to the Mexican States, that's probably quite pleasing to most customers in Enfield. The service is always helpful and pleasant. When we come into town and want some quality Tex-Mex comfort food, Acapulcos is at the top of our list, and they always make us very happy.“
