Went to the Greenwich location but was closed for private party. So, ventured to this Fairfield location. A few stools were available for indoor dine-in, they had tables outside for outdoor dining also. I had the chicken fingers, Surf n' Turf Lobster Roll which was nicely full of skirt steak and warm lobster. The sandwich was juicy & succulent. One a scale of 1-10, this place gets buzz and ratings around 9 to 10 ... but my 7 rating would be generous. It's probably closer to a 6.8. Yes, Lobstercraft has been an ultra- trendy brand, and it's in a super-busy location. But it's overrated. Maybe the problem with getting high reviews is that you build up expectations. Couldn't decide which lobster roll to try so I got the flight. It was a wise choice. Soooo good! All 3 we're delicious but the Heatwave was my favorite. The lobster was so fresh and perfectly. The toasted bread had the right amount of crust to. The chowder was delicious as well. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in CT.
