Chinese Restaurants in CT and MA have become horrible over the years, the egg rolls are disgusting everywhere I go an the food has become mediocre at best. Now I arrived in Glastonbury and found Gourmet Wok...and I have to say this is my new spot for Szechuan & Cantonese food. The egg rolls were perfect, the food was fantastic and the service was stellar. Don't go anywhere else!!!! Gourmet Wok is the best in the area
This is a tiny place in a strip mall in Glastonbury, serving Chinese food and take out. Not much to comment about the service, the staff at the counter tee were friendly. Food comes out really quick and is prepared fresh and hot. I only tried the egg drop soup and a house fried rice. Both were delicious and served hot. The soup comes with a pack of wontons. I asked for the fried rice to be made spicy they gave me a cup of chill sauce at no extra cost. The cost is pretty reasonable...read full review

First time ordering from here and was not disappointed. Chicken wings were fried perfectly and good quality. Egg rolls were yummy and could use a little more meat. General Tso's chicken was the best I have had outside NYC. I will be back!
