“Great spot for South Indian cuisine. Would recommend trying if you are looking for a light breakfast.I tried the onion & chilli uttapam (rice pancakes) and the $5.5 Idlis (steamed rice dumplings), both come with a side of coconut chutney and sambhar (lentil soup).Pros:1) Competitive price2) Authenticity: As close as it can get to South Indian cuisine in America.3) Taste: Very goodCons:1) Located in the corner of the food court in the mall which makes it difficult to spot. Will try their lunch/dinner meal next which is for $18.99 and update the review. The items on the menu look great.Vegetarian options: Lot of vegetarian options“
“The food was authentically cooked and delicious.I did ask the waitress if they hand made Parata’s or was it frozen. She did say it was made and not frozen. I’d take her word for it.Amritsari gosht was amazing with garlic naan .Chaat was mediocre, can be better.Parking: This spot is in a tricky spot. It’s on the traffic light, be careful while entering and exiting out of the parking lot.Kid-friendliness: They offer kid friendly foodOptions:Maggie noodles (egg or Paneer)“
“I attended Chef Prasad's chef collaboration with Tyler Anderson last night and it was nothing short of spectacular. Admittedly not all that familiar with Indian food, it all tasted delicious and it was much more than that. Place is super cozy, drinks are great and 5 star experience all the way around!!! He does these chef collaborations once a month, but visit for a regular meal or takeout as it is well worth it. -Nick D“
“Tandoori was a wonderful experience that exceeded all expectations. The staff was warm, and attentive, and the food was exceptional. I was trying Indian cuisine for the first time and was thoroughly impressed by the quality and flavors of the dishes. The dishes were incredibly tasty, but they were also nourishing and satisfying.I can't wait to go back and explore more of their menu.“
“Tandoori Salmon is absolutely delightful! The mix of spices is outstanding, making it a truly mouthwatering dish. The portion is quite generous, and the attention to detail is clear. It's definitely a five-star meal that I highly recommend.“
“Best Indian restaurant in Stamford, hands down. These guys serve the best South Indian food – makes me think of home! And impeccable service – they always take my requests to give me the exact kind food I am craving. Taste is as authentic as it gets. Today they made my day by serving me even though I showed up a little before they officially opened for the day. Thanks for accommodating me and making me feel so happy! :) I'm going to be a frequent visitor for sure.“

Followed by delicious achari mushrooms. Our main dish matter paneer was wonderful and expertly spiced at level medium. The rice and butter naan were as expected. We enjoyed our meal and can’t wait to come back.Dietary restrictions: I am vegetarian, my dining companion was not. We both loved our meals.“

“Delicious!!!!!!! Beautiful presentation of my to-go meal! Ina year of plastic to-go meals, how REFRESHING to see an orchid, delicately placed atop my chicken! Gorgeous. This is greatly appreciated. The BEST coconut rice I’ve EVER had. Outstandingly delicious—all the stars!!!! I ordered 2 chicken dishes to try and both are beyond good. Looking forward to working my way through the menu!“

“Very good local spot. I'm used to dining in NYC and have my favorite spots there. So when a friend suggested getting Indian food here I said let's try. India Ave didn't disappoint. Everything was well prepared and delicious. The interior is modern and comfortable. In my opinion the outside needs a facelift but the food is worth the trip.“
