The food is awesome. Reminds me of when I went to Thailand for a vacation. I loved the duck noodle soup.
Been ordering from them for years but for some reason just realized I've never left a review. I think all I need to say is this: I would BATHE in their red curry sauce. (I mean every dish is fantastic - you can't go wrong.) My favorite Thai restaurant.
Liked the pineapple fried rice with chicken (sweet).
This place is really slipping. It used to be spot on , but as of late has gone down the tubes. Perhaps a new chef? They changed a few things on the menu and for the worse. The Curry Puff is not the same, it is no longer light as air, but leaden, done with a heavy puff pastry that has way too much pastry and too little filling, you cannot taste curry at all. The Red Curry dish I ordered had uncooked vegetable in it, raw eggplant/beans, etc. I like the veggies toothsome but this was just raw. As the quality slips, the prices go up. The rice take out containers are still packed so loosely, it is never enough for one adult. It is not an expensive item, I do know why they skimp on rice. A basic curry is $15-irregardless if you have tofu or meat. No salad no spring roll. I do not mind paying if it is cooked right, but raw ingredients and messing with proven menu items, no thanks.
Best Thai food in Hamden hands down
All items were ok. Pineapple fried rice , I have tried in multiple Thai restaurants, though not as great as some of the others, this one was decent. Drunken noodles was better comparatively.
Came in for a late Sunday lunch. Inside is nice and comfortable. Spaced table. Servers wear masks. Ordered grilled beef pho. It was very good and good size. Service was good a little slow. One person. Nice place.
This was our favorite Thai restaurant when we lived in Hamden. Today after few years while in town we decided to go there for lunch. Definitely the food is not same. We got three chicken dishes. The chicken in all three was very chewy and hard. We could tell that this lunch was not fresh at all. Didn't feel like saying anything to server as I know restaurants struggle to stay open during pandemic but this place is no longer in my list.
Absolutely pitiful food for the price. I spent 65 dollars for the amount of food that usually costs 20 bucks. I ordered the sizzling beef house special and the beef was over cooked and had zero taste. The vegetables that came with it were soggy and mushy. I also ordered the volcano chicken which said it was a whole Cornish Hen but it looked like what a Cornish Hen would give birth to, that’s how small it was. The chicken was also dry and hard like plastic and the chili paste
Authentic Thai food.. tastes as good as it looks, top tier food. Inventive cocktails for a light refreshment, highly recommend.
It was good. Just as good as rice pot which is one of my fave places for pad Thai and the avocado rolls was huge and hearty which I loved except the avocado isn't as much as I thought. The young waitress is a doll. Very attentive and sweet.
I order takeout here through UberEats and they never disappoint.
One of the better Thai places in the area with nice atmosphere. One star off due to no alcohol - I love an ice cold Singha with my food.
Bangkok Blvd is our favorite Thai takeout place. We've enjoyed this place for over a year now and I'm finally getting around to leaving a review. The food is always fresh and delicious, and the staff is super friendly and accommodating. Give this place a try and you will discover your new favorite Thai food in the North Haven / Hamden area!!
We ordered a bunch of different things for delivery and they were delivered hot and on time. I got the Spring Rolls which were crispy but not greasy. I also got the Drunken Noodles with Tofu Medium Spicy which had just the right about of spicy and the tofu was just the right level of firm. All others in my party also said their food was delicious as well.
