“We stopped by today after a long walk- the arrangements were fantastic. The flavors are listed outside on an A frame sign, lots of clear, easy to read signs about how to order. Staff was super friendly and happy to help. The kids enjoyed the ice cream! :) Thank you guys! Nicely done! :)“
“Ashley's is terrific. Very friendly, fast, and clean, but also I am allergic to nuts. I was asking about contamination, and though they use different/new scoops for each tub, the worker said he'd go and get my pumpkin ice cream from a fresh tub in the back, which he did.It tasted great, too!“
“Stopped in after hiking nearby Sleeping Giant Tower trail. Unique concept featuring ice cream from a variety of small purveyors from around CT. Very friendly, helpful staff giving lots of sample tastes. Ice cream was delicious.Easy access right off Rte 15.“
“I finally tried PopCentric and I will say it's in a little strip mall but I did drive by it 2x . But it's a small little place but huge variety of popsicle flavors from chocolate to mango raspberry lime creamsicle etc . They are a bit pricey but it's all natural fruit . It actually had fruit in them . Nice refreshing treat other than ice cream . Good luck to them the staff was very nice . Enjoy Chris M“
“Packed on a Tuesday night! Took hubby here for his birthday and we loved the service - it was superb. Food was great, and yes we'll be back!! It was rather loud due to so many people and tables are close together in the middle, but it was fine.“
“A dessert shop known for soft serve and high prices but justifies its cost with extremely quality dessert.Would definitely recommend getting more than just a soft serve such as the ice cream with cookie simply because combinations items are better and you will have a much better experience2nd in dessert only to Elm St. Diner***Ice cream + cookie = A brown butter chocolate toffee cookie with a hint of espresso is a rare find and exemplifies the sophistication of flavors in each of their items. Definitely a flagship itemBrownie Haven = An interesting flavor which may not be appealing to all flavor pallets but definitely delicious“
“My wife and I took a private pottery throwing lesson with Emily. She inspired us to take a six week lesson followed by another six week lesson. We then became members. We love it there. What a wonderful pottery community! Thank you Jess!Side note: the paint-your-own is super popular there, as well as glass fusing, candles, and mosaics. It’s a great place to get together and drink some wine and be creative or bring the kids for a party!“
“The best Ice Cream in Connecticut! We have had Big Dipper ice cream cakes for birthday celebrations for many years. Now they offer ice cream pies with graham crust in any flavor if you order 2 days ahead, although there are always a few flavors ready for pickup. We really love the Bada Bing, vanilla with cherries and chocolate chips- perfection!“
“I enjoyed everything about Billy's Old Fashioned Ice Cream. My husband grew up in the area, this was my first time. The decor super cute with a working model train going around on the track. No one was yet at the ice cream counter but a nice girl / women came over right away we had no wait. Our order was two sundaes. My sundae was coffee carmel expresso with peanut sauce, whipped cream, cherry, and chocolate sprinkles. The 2nd sundae my husband's usual the classic vanilla ice cream with hot fudge, whipped cream, and crushed oreos. One thing I noticed about Billy's that was done differently which I enjoyed our chosen sauces were through out our sundaes. Several places I have been to for ice cream the sauce is either just on top of the ice cream or over the whipped cream. Good technique Billy's.“
“We had the most enjoyable ice cream after a gorgeous summer day this holiday weekend, visiting family in Connecticut. Sweet Cream's in Wallingford had an impressive list of flavors, the usuals as well as innovative flavors such as Rice Krispy Treat, and Nutella flavor. I had a ginger snap on a cone and it was delicious. The service was great which always is a plus. We all enjoyed our homemade ice cream and will be back when we are in town next time for sure“
“This is a lovely little new ice cream shop in the Yalesville section of Wallingford. The ship is brightly lit with typical tables inside and out. The summer time outdoor seating attracts bees which takes away from the experience if anyone in your party is scared of or allergic to bees. The flavors are yummy, brightly colored when appropriate and the fixin's selection is good. No freezer burnt experiences yet. Outside the scoop shop, a few doors down, you can find a koi pond, water display. Not sure if it's seasonal but the kids liked it. If tables are dirty it's due to inconsiderate customers and the crowds.Parking: Lots of spots, just be sure to look around you when backing up in a busy lot.Kid-friendliness: Kids approved.Wheelchair accessibility: Stroller friendly.“
“I have never had a bad ice cream from Bananas! I have always been a lover of their cotton candy ice cream but went in and tried their new flavors and I was blown away. This shop is small, sweet and full of smiles. Great service and care. The only down side I have is I wish it was closer to my house!Dietary restrictions: They offer many options for those who have restrictions.Parking: They have parking in the front and side.Kid-friendliness: My kids love coming to bananas and trying new ice cream and new toppings. Always a great stop for them.“
“AMAZING service!! Me and my family went late at night to grab some goodies and the worker was so nice :) she was patient and described each dish to us and gave us complimentary items as well! The bakery was so cute and warming when we entered! 100% recommend if you're looking for a friendly family environment serving delicious food!“
“If it was summer and not February, Ashley's Ice Cream typically has a long line of patrons waiting to get their tasty treat. I walked inside to find three employees ready to serve, and no one else waiting. They offered samples. I tried Nutella Chip, and immediately knew that's what I'd be getting. My friend and I shared a cup of Banana and Nutella Chip. This was for sure a very generous portion. Both of the flavors were creamy, flavorful and so true to their names. The Nutella Chip had that authentic spoonful of Nutella taste, with tiny chocolate chips throughout. The banana was the sweet but mild banana flavor. The walls were adorned with pictures of pups and humans enjoying Ashley's Ice Cream! Needless to say we could be added to their wall of love! The ice cream was delicious, creamy and plenty of it for us both to enjoy!“
“Sweet Claude's is a great ice cream spot in Cheshire! They recently moved from their location on Route 10 to a building on West Main St. (part of the Ball & Socket Arts building) and I visited them at their new location recently. While the inside looks different, they still have the same great homemade ice cream!I ordered the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup in a waffle cone and it was excellent. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. The new location seems to have more parking than the old one, and more benches to sit.Make sure you add Sweet Claude's to the list for your CT ice cream tour this summer!“
“Dip top is your standard ice cream place, walk in, get ice cream, and go outside to enjoy it! The service is delectable not to mention their wide range of flavors, soft serve, dip, and many flavors of hard ice cream that if I were to list I would still be writing tomorrow! As there is no seating inside, you really have to depend on the weather to have a good vibe while enjoying your ice cream, but nevertheless they have very nice benches outside on their own private little lawn, with a generous amount of garbage cans you'll hands with never get drenched in melted ice cream if you do dare to throw away the delicacy that is dip top ice cream!“
“My first time having crumbl was breast cancer awareness week, and I drove an hour to try and support it was amazing and it’s a ritual to go to crumbl on the best weeks as often as I can, the atmosphere was great and they never disappointed me will continue to go!“
“Love this place!! However, it is dangerous for someone trying to eat healthy ? The service is phenomenal and the cookies are amazing! What some people may not know is that each week the cookie flavors change- Which ispretty cool. The cookies are really delicious and worth it!!“
“I just love their ice cream, it’s so fresh and tasty. They are priced reasonably. Their store is very simple and neat. It’s clean and very well maintained. They also do have small sized ice cream packs for sale, in addition to the cone ice cream. The staff were sweet. Service was good. Their ice cream is a must try.“
“Went here unexpectedly for breakfast. I had the avocado toast. The portion was plenty for one person. The balance was great of all the ingredients. Plan on taking your food and eating it somewhere else as seating is limited. We happened to grab a barstool facing the water which was nice. Would recommend! Can't wait to go back and try something else!“
“THE BEST ICE CREAM EVER!!!!! Literally ruined ice cream living in nyc I now am obsessed with Ashley's. Especially their blackberry ice cream flavor. And I don't even like blackberries but this is my new favorite flavor. You have to try it. It's delicious creamy and so so addicting. Defintely get a milkshake in my opinion thats the best way to experience it. I literally sometimes get 2. My one feedback is the staff is usually teenagers who hate their job and aren't very nice. I've been working since I was 16 and Defintely never had attitude but they do. But it's worth it for the ice cream. This spot is my favorite still because it has the outdoor seating available across from the green it's the cutest.Vegetarian options: It's all vegetarian!Dietary restrictions: Dairy heavy be prepared to pay the priceParking: It's right across the green so parking is difficultKid-friendliness: Perfect for kids!Wheelchair accessibility: Lots of space for your wheel chair !“
“This place is amazing. The parking might suck but the prices and ice cream are great. I go here frequently and they beat dairy queen all the time in my opinion. Can't go wrong with taking the family here to get inexpensive delicious ice cream soft and hard with an abundance of toppings.“
“On these hot days- ice cream is amazing. Dairy Queen offers an assortment of different kinds of ice cream. I had an oreo/ bownie Blizzard & loved it. My husband likes the cherry dilly bars. I was shocked @ how cheap an entire box of dilly bars was. Another favorite is vanilla on cone w/ rainbow sprinkles. Friday nights in North Branford they have classic carnight @ Dairy Queen. Great people awesome cars & ice cream. How can you go wrong.“
“I didn't even know this place existed until my dad's girlfriend brought us there I had my daughter and my nephew and they got tons of candy they had homemade looking great desserts I loved the atmosphere it was a great place and I recommend it to anyone who's aroundKid-friendliness: It's a store almost made for kids they get to get a bag and pick out the candies people are very nice“
“Wow!!!! My boyfriend and I tried this new little spot on a whim and boy was it GOOD!!!! Honestly the best Mexican I’ve had in the states and I’ve lived in LA, California. It was so fresh and well made. Absolutely delicious. The tostadas were fire! So was the corn but those Churros!!! Honey. Let me tell you. THE BEST THING IVE EVER HAD! Get the caramel. I’m sure they’re all good but we got the caramel. It was like a warm custard inside of the churro. I thought it was gonna just be a sauce you dipped it in. They were excellent!!!!! I have a burrito I’m saving for later but I have no doubt it’s gonna be magic. Don’t sleep on this spot. It’s 100% worth it and the prices were beyond fare. Oh we also got tacos. I didn’t eat those but my man. Did. He loved them!!! Definitely go! And go now before they get so popular you can’t get in! Also, it needs to be mentioned that the customer service was outstanding. They were so kind and patient. Helpful. And all with a smile. I’mTelling you. Next big thing in Wallingford ??“

“Wanted a dessert I wouldn't feel to guilty eating after 7pm and found this little treasure I had the "Cholado" and it was AMAZING! I'm usually not a fan of melon type fruits, but I ate everything in this cup will definitely be my snack spot especially when the warmer weather comes around! The staff is also summer nice!“
“Every product I've tried at Chip in a Bottle has blown me away, from the diversity of gelato flavors to the decadent handcrafted chocolates. Delicious espresso, brilliant gelato, and amazing special occasion chocolates for the certain person in your life who deserves them. The owner and staff have always been the kindest and most thoughtful, wonderful people. Many times I chatted with Darrell about a flavor profile I'd enjoyed in a dessert, only to find he'd engineered a whole batch of gelato in Peach Basil that blew me away. I'm dearly looking forward to their reopening, and I'm grateful to have had the privilege of visiting this local treasure many times.“
“Their ice cream is delicious, definitely worth a trip out. They also have delicious ice cream cakes. Be sure to provide a little lead time for a cake purchase, and they will have it ready to go for you. I like to order mine about a week ahead of time.“
