“I stopped in around 6pm on a Sunday night. I was greeted kindly right away. I ordered a small cheese pizza that was made fresh in front of me and I had it hot and in my hands in 20 minutes. $13. I took it to go and once cooled to an appropriate eating temperature I devoured most of it on the way back to Enfield, that's how good it was. Every time I have been here we have ordered the hot antipasto which included two baked stuffed shrimp, two stuffed mushrooms, and two clams casino, along with the appetizer came a warm basket of homemade bread with butter. We had the New England Clam chowder and it was perfect I had a veal dish with mushrooms and prosciutto over noodles. Perfect did I say fresh mushrooms my brother had the zuppe di pesce, which he totally enjoyed. He got it without the calamari and another basket of warm bread. If you're looking for delicious Italian food with a very friendly waitstaff this is the place to go. “We visited Skappo for my birthday yesterday and our initial walk in the door we were greeted by this lovely woman who cleared a table immediately so we were not waiting long. Then mom (we know from the great introduction) came over to say hello and commented on my necklace. The food was so good and it was like we were at Nonna's house!! We started with the antipasto and the stuffed figs.So glad we chose both because those stuffed figs alone were worth the trip back. For our entrees I got the bolognese and my husband got the ziti with a creamy sausage sauce, both were delicious!!! It is worth the trip and we know we will be making return visits!! At the time when I went, there was another major party going on just arriving with Quinnipiac university which these women filled up most of the dinning area. I did call ahead of time and put a last minute reservation but still this restaurant needs to expand and have a separate area for parties it is way too small. A lot of people don't like to sit at the bar area for dinner squeezed into a booth with a noisy party eating buffet style.“

They stayed busy with calls and customers coming in and now after having a couple slices I know why. I'm not even sure what slices I picked, I both had bacon on them and one was a white pizza slice, and though I was worried because it was nearly 8 pm at night and who knows how long they had been sitting on display I wasn't in the mood to go somewhere else.Fast forward to my wife and I getting to our hotel and opening up the box and taking a bite, I smiled, it was one of the best bites of pizza I've ever had from NY to Italy to Germany to all over the US. My wife had one of their chicken sandwiches which was delicious too. “Went for lunch and drinks. Always greeted right away when you walk in. Staff is always very attentive. Sat at that bar. Ordered espresso martinis with baileys added. The best martinis, they make fresh espresso right at the bar for your martini. I ordered the burratta appetizer, crostini with burratta, fig jam, prosciutto, arugula and balsamic glaze. So good, I order it everytime. Then for the first time I ordered a pizza. They are the size of a small. I ordered the escarole, white bean and truffle mashed potatoes. Was really looking forward to trying this, so to my surprise it wasn't that good. The pizza crust is very thin which I am a fan of, however it was over cooked. Way too crispy. And I know it didn't say it on the menu but just figured there would be cheese on it well there wasn't. Nothing really to hold the items on the pizza perhaps that's why it was so crispy. It needed to be so that everything didn't fall off the piece of pizza. We were there for over 4 hours just catching up with friends and having couple cocktails. Never felt rushed by any staff member to get up and leave. Small bar so it was nice to not feel rushed. It is one of my favorite restaurants. Will definitely be back again and again. Just next time I will stick to what I know I love.“

Upon entering the establishment we were immediately greeted by Dom, the owner of the restaurant, who kindly sat us at the bar as we requested. The atmosphere was very welcoming - We honestly compared the vibe to Goodfellas/Encore in New Haven, except more casual and easy-going, if that makes sense. We ordered the New York strip steak and the Veal Sorrentino and both dishes were *chef's kiss*. The only thing better than the food were the drinks. I highly recommend the espresso martini. Overall, we definitely will be visiting again - good food, great drinks, and amazing service.“
“We rented the little Italy pizza truck for my boyfriends 30th birthday, and we couldn’t be happier! First of all I’d like to point out that the party was in the back field of a farm, that had a very rough dirt road in and out. Luigi came out a few days prior to scope out the place, and said it wouldn’t be a problem. It DOWNPOURED the whole day of our party, so we were nervous about him being able to get down, not only did he make it down the dirt road all the way to the party, they showed up with smiles on their face and got right to work making their delicious pizzas! Everyone couldn’t stop talking about how good the pizza and service was. We had enough to feed over 75 people, and even had enough so people could bring some home with them. Luigi and his crew were so nice and we are so grateful for everything they did to make the party a huge success. 10/10 recommend their services!“

Hard to choose, although the grilled veg on focaccia and tropical salad are my go to. I once had a Tuna Nicoise Baguette it's still one of my all time favorite sandwiches!
