This small used bookstore attached to a gourmet breakfast and lunch café is a real find! Beautifully prepared popovers, filled with either spinach or ham, delicious omelettes, fluffy scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, all served with great care, give us a truly gourmet spot in a suburb of New Haven Connecticut. Few tables, all occupied by people from all around the New Haven area, allowed us to chat, to read the newspaper, and to enjoy a Sunday morning with friends. The bookstore has a large collection of used paperbacks and hard covers, arranged alphabetically by author and subject matter. Beautiful greeting cards as well. This is clearly our new favorite breakfast spot, a gathering place for friends from many towns around New Haven and beyond. Thanks for a great place!

Fantastic weekend brunch menu in a casual setting! Ridiculously delicious baked goods (croissants) and creative specials like lemon ricotta pancakes. Custom omelets with fresh ingredients, fresh fruit and friendly service. Sitting is limited ... but turns over quickly.

I've been wanting to try Le Petit Gourmet for a while, and the wait was worth it! Not as "French" as expected but exquisitely prepared food, friendly service, and the used book store next door was an added bonus. We'll definitely be back!
Small spot I passed by looking for breakfast food. I got the special that was a french toast sandwich w ham and cheese. It was delicious! And a perfect size to fill me.

Consistently great food with a solid core menu, tasty, interesting specials, and super friendly staff. Seating can be a little difficult at times, but the bookstore next door will welcome you with open arms, just be cool and throw a couple bucks in their WiFi fund jar.
