Great family run local restaurant. Hot sandwiches are huge and a good value. Pizza is on par with local New Haven. I’ve never tried but they have a large selection of great looking deserts/treats as well.

Food is good, whether dinners, pizza or catering. Like all restaurants in Hamden, it's something like 20% higher in price than the surrounding area. Don't know why I can't get a couple pizzas and a salad for less than $80. Service is iffy on the phone sometimes, but they deliver well.

We went here with other couple for a nice sit down dinner.Interior has changed completely from last visit.Menu is up on a big board to the left when you enter. Not what we wanted to see.We left for a sit and be waited on restaurant.

Every time I order food for takeout the lady that answers the phone is rude. She’s never friendly and doesn’t seem to appreciate the business. Also the chicken quality is very on and off, one time I’ll have a cutlet and it’s great. Another time it’ll be super chewy and rubbery. The atmosphere in this restaurant is weird, it’s definitely more of a takeout place.

In my first review I wrote I can't wait to come back to try more items on the menu. So we stop back for lunch. We started off with an order of their wedding soup, and a meatball grinder. We also took home their carrot cake and tiramisu. Dessert portions were huge.Everything was delicious, and you can tell everything here is homemade.

The place its a family owned restaurant. I was craving chicken Alfredo and my husband wanted a chicken parm sub. Everything was super delicious. The bread was fresh(homemade) the pasta was also fresh(homemade)!! Would go back and try on their pizza!!

The pizza is awful. If you like like slop in a cardboard box, this place is for you.Overloaded and disgusting. We will never order here again. We didn't even eat it. I tried to pick it up, the crust broke away from the soggy pizza. Gross. We threw it out and ordered other food. This is all (everything is this post) my humble opinion.

Great place for a hot sub at a great price! Portion sizes are amazing- you can definitely get two meals out of one sub. Meatball sub was hot & fresh. Tried the tiramisu, but I didnt like it. I thought it was a little lemony which was weird & gad a slight grainy texture. Would go back for the subs.

My friend and I ordered pizza today. Pizza came out burned. After I asked for another pizza from a worker who agreed and took the pizza away and ordered us another. The owner verbally abused my friend and I. She was condescending, rude and shouted to us from the front of the restaurant. We were seated in the back of the restaurant. She came over with the new pizza, stood there asking how the new pizza was and refused to leave until I looked at it and took a bite. She then started on another temper tantrum with my friend insulted her stating she was too old for this crap. I then stated to the owner I was older than her who did she think she was speaking to. We will never go back to this place again. The owner needs to learn how to keep customers and not drive them away with her rude and condescending behavior. Stay away from this place as far as you can unless you want to be verbally abused!!!!!
