The drinks was well made, good beer selection. One of the must try are the birria!

Sad little pub with sad little clients, mediocre "food", and a few lousy beer selections. Soon expected to be out of business; best to avoid.

A small, sad place with food, beer/alcohol the same. The promise of a somewhat interesting menu proved short-lived: what passes for TexMex and BBQ are poorly put together, the size of a pea, and the "home made" label just an excuse for low quality ingredients. Service is erratic and unpleasant; management even worse. NOT recommended

The best birria in New Haven County- I've looked. They also make a great marg, not weighed down by sour mix or over complicated flavors.

Our favorite place to go in Hamden. The food is always delicious. They cook one of the best pork in the area. I don’t think I will ever get bored of eating here.

Oscars famous "made to order" Guac was served freezing cold out of the fridge with stale chips? should have just left at that point but ordered my meal anyway. The Mahi Mahi tacos were ok but the lime wedges served were so old and cold when squeezed produced no juice at all. My fiancé asked for passion fruit margaritas and twice got the original even the bill stated passion fruit. I asked for extra napkins and they were thrown at me over my shoulder when i wasn't looking I've heard good things but after my experience i won't go back and for $111.00 i was really expecting better I'll just stick with Mikro which i know is always amazing!!!

I won a gift certificate to Texiko but they would not honor it, after bar tender laughed at me, he then said that he'd make up for this in another way.The bill came and nothing.

At at the bar and had dinner. The drinks were awesome and the bartender was friendly and made excellent suggestions. Dinner was great.

One of the best Craft Beer bars in the area. Great Southwest inspired food and BBQ.

Before I begin my review, I just want say I have high expectations for BBQ and Mexican food since I am from Texas. However, I would never think to mix the two because in my mind they have totally separate tastes. It is very dark inside the bar, it was hard for me to read the chalk board without my glasses. We ordered two house margaritas which were good but not the best I have ever had. Then, we ordered the guacamole and salsa which were both made with fresh ingredients and very flavorful. The salsa was unique, very different from what I am used to, a cross between red/green salsa. It had a slight creaminess to it, but it had the perfect amount of heat to it. We both order the 3 taco dinner. All the tacos were made with fresh ingredients. My favorite street taco was the pulled pork followed by the fish. I would not order the brisket taco again. The brisket was fatty and bland. My husband said the chicken on the taco was a little dry. I would think this place would be for a quick bite to eat.

This is a go to spot with great margaritas and the quesadillas are excellent . The staff are friendly and are knowledgeable about the different drinks offered.

First visit and I was really impressed! small location but really good food. Margarita was good , had some cool specials as well. Started off with Guacamole which was so fresh and delicious. My entree was the pulled chicken quesadilla - so good!! - Cassie AKA @eatwithcmg on Instagram

Great atmosphere and food was to die for. I took my food to go, but the hostess was very nice. I had the texiko poutine

This place has a great atmosphere! Everyone I have ever had the pleasure to interact with has been fantastic! Don’t forget the food, it is amazing! I have traveled the country in search of great barbecue and this establishment is the best in the area! I only wish their hours were better but I blame Covid for that!

We walked in the door and we were immediately greeted by a hostess. She seated us where we wanted to be seated, gave us a cocktail list and a menu. We ordered a couple of drinks and a couple of waters that were served right away. The menu selection was very unique as tex-mex and barbeque were features that looked very tasty. We ordered the Texas Brisket appetizer and the rice bowl. After 5 minutes the main disk came out of the kitchen served by a kitchen server and then 3 minutes later the appetizer came out. Our waitress apologized for the timing of the meal. My advice is to order your cocktails and then halfway through order your appetizer. Wait until you are almost done with your appetizer and then order your main meal. Kind of like you would do if you were dining at Chili's, Olive Garden, or Friday's. John Cheshire, CT
