For all who see the critical reviews...If you're looking for a $5 footlong equivalent, you're not going to be happy. Prices and serving sizes reflect current economic downturns affecting businesses and their bottom line. That being said, food was delicious and fair for the price. Fresh homemade meatballs were a nice surprise. Will come again when in the area.

I just wanted to take a minute and thank all the staff at Max Deli in Hartford. Since I started working in the area last year I have visited this establishment many times. Jeff and his crew always greet me with a hello and how’s your day going. I appreciate the great service I have received every visit not just once or twice. I dont know about the rest but all ive tried is a bacon egg and cheese. I like it if its made correctly and not rushed. I go frequently. I have gotten up charged before and complained. They have been giving me horrible customer service. Then again all of a sudden up charged me a dollar from last week for no reason. I am super upset with their customer service it makes me not want to go ever again.
