“Talk about a fantastic hot dog. This 1950s style diner is famous for their 10 inch hot dogs for good reason. The hot dog itself has tons of flavor and can be served with numerous toppings. I recommend adding cheese which they melt between the bun and the hot dog so it's almost like it's wrapped in grilled cheese! The parking lot has picnic tables for the summer time and the staff is friendly. It is cash only but there is an atm inside!”

“Middlefield pizza is under new ownership as of the middle of February 2024 and I have been looking for a great Greek pizza nearby, well I don't have to look any further. We placed an order for takeout, but they now have seating at the restaurant, so next time we will dine in. The dining area is bright and cheerful with plenty of seating. The staff is friendly and the owner George, loves to chat as well. The pizza was fantastic!!!! We had the house special, which had the right amount of sauce, it wasn't too tart and tomatoey nor was it too sweet (there must be a secret recipe here for this) and the crust was cooked to perfection! The pizza was topped with thin slivers of sweet onions and green bell peppers, pepperoni, chunks of sausage, perfectly sliced mushrooms and we made a substitution of bacon instead of hamburger. The pizza was topped with just the right amount of cheese, not too much, not too little. This truly was the perfect Greek pizza. I am certain this will be my new go-to pizza place for Greek pizza.”

“It was Valentine's Day, so it was very busy. Service was a bit slow because they didn't have enough servers. And sitting near the bar it was a bit noisy at first. Eventually many of the bar-goers left and it was quiet, except for when skiers would come through with their loud boots on. But the food was excellent and the fire was nice.”

“Very interesting Dunkin. Set quite a bit back from the road, you can see the design intent to serve a large number of drive thru clients. Bathrooms were clean and coffee was typical Dunkin quality. Easy and fast in and out.”

“This is by far the best pizza in southington ct! When we moved here, we were looking for good pizza in Southington and we stumbled upon them. Not only were they the closest pizza near me in southington, they were out favorite after trying a few. The owners are so so sweet too. Try their chicken parm, salads and grinders as well. Really great bang for your buck too!”

“Sal worked with us for my grandsons baptism party. The roast beef was tender and flavorful. Lemon chicken was amazing. Roasted vegetables with hot peppers, WOW! Roasted potatoes, fantastic! “I fell in love with Birria tacos recently during a visit to TX, so I was really looking forward to trying this food truck. It was a big disappointment. $32 for three small tacos and a quesadilla? They didn’t even include the consome which is a signature part of the Birria experience. You had to pay extra for it. We asked if they had any chicken or shrimp options, which are listed on their website…nope. Just beef, which was pretty bland. Sorry, wanted to like ya, but one and done.”

“Rocco's is a wonderful and friendly local bakery located In South Meriden CT. The prices are reasonable. Cash only (ATM machine inside). They carry pies, cookies, pastries, cakes, breads, etc. The service is great- Dorothy is super friendly. This is a grab and go place. There is no area to sit down with your treats and eat. The chocolate lemon pie is a favorite. They sell individual pieces of almond, tiramisu, etc. Everything we've purchased has been delicious. This is the only specialty bakery in the area. Highly recommend!”
