I hired Whey Station for my Wedding this past Saturday and have to commend them for their relentless efforts in ensuring that they showed up for us. They faced every obstacle possible--the engine blew in their truck the day before the wedding. They then towed the truck to our wedding site only to be turned away when the tow truck was too heavy to cross into our venue. Cheesy Bacon Tots, 2 Afterburns, and a Big Sal Grilled Cheese fed our group of 4 easily. Tasty meal, cheesy, salty, tangy and hot. Friendly crew. Made for a nice end to a night at the CT Brewing Co.
I am severely disappointed in myself that I have never reviewed The Whey Station!! Easily one of the best food trucks in CT. They've taken the simple concept of grilled cheese and put it on another level. Other grilled cheese trucks just don't compare! I personally think it's the bread - and the people behind it! One of the main locations they setup shop is the Xfinity Theater in Hartford. It's a concert tradition of ours to get Whey Station before a show. DON'T be intimidated...read full review
