Absolutely the best Duchess around!!! the employees and especially the manager are the sweetest and most caring individuals. I am muslim so my food cannot touch bacon and they always gladly change their gloves for me. It always makes my day how sweet and smiley they are. Y’all are the best for real!

I came for the hot dogs and left with confusion but let us tour this review all the same, Upon arrival, Duchess was both empty but clean. It is always good to see when the staff is keeping up with appearances of a restaurant for that is pride in the work place. I was greeted at the register and placed an order for 3 hot dogs....1 Plain, 1 with Chili and the 3rd with the works. Now after taking a bite of the plain dog with toasted bun action, this is what is supposed to set the stage for the other 2 but unfortunately, all of the stage hands decided NOT to come into work. If your base dog is questionable in flavor and lacking a full on snap, what am I to think of the other two? At least the toasted bun was soft, yet had a nice crisp to it and it did not taste as if it had been sitting around waiting for someone to show it love but more so, the bun was fresh for it talked back to me and I like that!! On to our chili option and I need to say that the chili was horrible, not just bad but a rancid flare that did not give up the fight at all. It seemed as if I swallowed bad ketchup, stale onions, old beans all mixed in dog food for human consumption and if you add that to an already questionable hot dog, we are left with what anger and breakups taste like if they were flavors but on to our final dog. The Works was your saving grace!! Sauerkraut held its own, with a nice sweet relish and mustard. That combination was the homer your hot dog needed in terms of flavor. Where it fell short, the works was able to bring it home and get the points. Everything worked well on the works but it just wasn't enough to bring the score here any higher than a 2.

Lets see, I asked my wife to hrab lunch. I dug a hole and planted a tree in less time than it took her to wait at Drive thru. Pathetic. Not to even mention crew doesnt know the difference between onions and sourkraut. Store should have a total revamp with the pathetic crew they are paying.
