5/5 Best Peruvian food I’ve had in New Haven. Great traditional plates with their own twist. If one word would describe their food it would be “fresh”. Everything tasted great. Our absolute favorite was the causa. Probably one of the best dishes we have had in New Haven. We also had the arroz chaufa and carrot tres leches cake. The customer service is also phenomenal. Spent an evening at Amaru Peruvian Bistro and had a wonderful and elegant dining experience with excellent Peruvian Cuisine. Victor was attentive and went that extra mile. Will dine again and will recommend to all friends and family.
