I’ve eaten from D’Amato’s for as long as I can remember. Food is delicious and service is wonderful from their very beginning until today. Now some many many years later and I’ve moved away to SC, and on my return which is at lease 3-4 times a year, I make it my business to visit them every time I’m here. Til next time.

This honestly used to be a favorite of mine. While the staff is very polite and friendly (excellent service), it in no way makes up for the quality of the food that I will no longer be purchasing. The last 2 times I went my shrimp were severely overcooked and hard as a rock. They were really dry and the filet had no flavor at all. I used to swear by their clam chowder but haven't bought any in a long time because it's just as salty as the ocean itself. I don't know what they're doing but I can't take it anymore. I'm seriously disappointed.

Always a good experience here, I’ve patron this place ever since they were located in fair haven whenever the UNCLE worked the counter. It’s like coming home here. Great food, wonderful atmosphere, beautiful dining area… and fantastic food! Great friendly service with a smile oh and the baked goods ya gotta try!

Nice place to eat with very fresh lobster rolls! The lobster rolls only had 2 pieces of that pointy ended, rubbery, foam-like end-of-the-claw pieces I don't like. It was full of very fresh and perfectly cooked claw and knuckle meat. The platter came with your choice of french fries or onion rings. We got the onion rings, which I have to tell you were The Best, freshly made onion rings we've had in quite a while. We'd actually ordered them, hoping they wouldn't be that good so we'd be able to have one or two and be done! :) But they were clearly made fresh and the batter was perfectly light... to die for! We polished off the entire basket, not meaning to. If they use the same batter for their other fried seafood, I bet it's also amazingly delicious. The coleslaw tasted fresh and was delicious too.

Very good food. I had the lobster roll and side of clam strips. The roll had a good portion of lobster and in butter, very tasty. The side of clam strips was giant. The strips were well seasoned and crisp. Service was polite and quick. The restaurant is small with plenty of seating. Everything was clean. I highly recommend D'Amato's for a great seafood shack experience.

This is the second time I had an incident first time I only got three shrimps on a shrimp platter and this time I got raw catfish, I placed my order, but I was an hour late picking it up to bring it to a party just to find out it was raw I called Saturday and spoke to Rico He said he would fix it up for me only to find out I had to repay more than what I paid originally $40. Which was not fair especially when we’ve been going there for years. but now I don’t know if I could recommend them anymore.
