Book for Valentine's Day & couldn't be more impressed. Lamb was amazing - steak for gal was great. Service was quick and efficient. Couldn't ask for a better place to spend Valentine's Day in New Haven
We decided on John Davenport's for Christmas Day dinner, because it was only about an hour away from home, was on the 19th floor of the Omni and we liked the menu selections we saw online. We are really glad we did. Now, the view was fantastic, even though it was dark, however, once the fog rolled in it was like having dinner in the clouds. We are planning to go back at some point during the day. They have a very large wine selection of small glasses, large glasses or bottles....read full review

My husband and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast overlooking the beautiful green and Yale university from the hotels 19th floor restaurant. Christine was our sweet and efficient server, she even looked up exactly who John Davenport was and when as cofounder of New Haven.
