“Didn't feel like cooking tonight so we ordered to-go. The Chopped Salad, an Antipasto Salad and an order of Arancini Balls. We ate the Arancini Balls first. You get 3 in a creamy tomato sauce and they were delicious. Filled with melted mozzarella and so big, that we had maybe 4 bites of our HUGE salads! Definitely a must try if you've never been to this little gem restaurant!“
“We had a great dinner from Woodfellas! Saw it as I dove by earlier in the day and decided to give it a try. We did take-out but the atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and inviting! Our next meal here will be dine in.The owner greeted me as I walked in and was very pleasant! We ordered the love salad and a cheese pizza. The salad was amazing! Full of garlic and pepper and cheese and salami! Authentic Hughies Love Salad!! The pizza was great! Sauce was good with a nice wood fire crust! Fabulous dinner and can't wait to dine in!“
“I have to say this place absolutely lived up to the hype. The bar menu is awesome and offers a lot of really good mid-size plates. The dinner menu has so many great Italian pasta choices... The bread comes with a really nice cilantro sauce that is so different... First restaurant I've been to in a long time that actually played music while you ate that was great too it was so entertaining. They had projector TVs and comfy places to sit. Great experience. Nice spot.“
“I moved to CT from NY so it’s hard finding a NY style pizza in CT, but Wings’N’Pies pizza was amazing!!! I love it, it reminds me of NY. I would highly recommend this to anyone. Definitely would be coming back here. I added the pepper flakes myself.“
“We live in N.J. and did a little family get away with my Daughter & her Fiance. My Family & I enjoyed our experience @Via Emilia . It was one of the best Italian restaurants we've ever been to, All four of us enjoyed our meals. My husband is writing a more detailed review .“
“I had the Chicken Piccata. It was cooked perfectly & crispy. The sauce was light, but flavorful. Excellent service,in a pristine & clean atmosphere. The cheese cake was light and delicious. Looking forward to returning again sometime.Parking: Large open parking lot, right in front of restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu available.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to get in & open spaces to navagate.“
“Been wanting to stop for sometime and finally did. Wish I had stopped sooner! Very friendly staff and amazing food. Check out their Facebook page for daily specials. Everything I sampled and purchased was delicious! The owner Jay was very pleasant and informative. Will definitely be going back again and again.“
“I loved this restaurant. It is a fun and lively environment. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. We ordered the sea scallop risotto and the lamb chops as our main courses, they were both fantastic. For appetizers we got the ricotta bruschetta and white sauce mussels, also very good. The wait for our food was quite long but it was a busy night.“
“I gave 4 stars because I've had a fair share of 5 star experiences here where the pizza was absolutely wonderful. Crust cooked perfectly, not too greasy, not soggy and just an all around good pizza. Wings and garlic bread were cooked just right and tasted great. However I have also had some 3 star experiences where the pizza was incredibly soggy, wasn't cooked well and the wings were also soggy.I would love to have said it was always a pleasant experience in terms of the food, however it can be a hit or miss. The staff has always been attentive and nice.“
“We visited Tony D's while traveling to Connecticut College and many people suggested Tony D's. We are glad we went. We had chicken genovese which was a nice portion with delicious homemade linguini. We also had veal parmigiana and that also was amazing! I must admit I was disappointed that the server did not give me a container to keep the bottle of white wine cold but gave the table next to us a container to keep their Perrier cold. I did request a container and was told they didn't have left. The food was delicious! The restaurant was crowded but it was not too loud.“
