TJs is a sports bar with great food and immaculately clean. The burger ? tastes like steak! I have had three of them and they are the "best burger" I personally have had in Connecticut. It's small in a cozy, way and the 8 TVs are set up so you can see NFL or Basketball anywhere you sit. It's really perfect for 3 friends & you to play pool and eat, or a casual "date night" because there are booths you can snuggle up in. I'm a Newington resident of about 7 years and have been meaning to try TJ's for a while and lord, I'm glad I did. 1) Bourbon steak tips 2) the drinks 3) servers and bartenders - all were amazing. I've been there 3 times in 2 weeks and have plans to take the kids tomorrow for pizza. I'm excited to finally find a local place with really good food, nice people and a relaxed atmosphere.

We had a private event in their pub room. Food was very tasty, prices very reasonable and the staff was great. If you are looking for a place to have a nice group buffet or birthday, engagement party, etc., I recommend!
