Family and I were looking for a place tonhave breakfast and happened upon Empire Cafe. We decided to give it a try and were happy we did. Inside was spacious, clean, and super cute! Our server was very friendly and attentive. We all enjoyed our breakfast very much, especially the delicious sausage gravy. Definitely would come again!
The service was great, the place was very open and clean.My wife and I got the sausage gravy eggs Benedict. I'm originally from the south and had my doubts when I saw southern cuisine.The biscuits were from frozen and warmed up. They were also soggy from the amount of water coming off of the poached eggs. A relatively new business that needs support. Unfortunately the small staff has a lot to do. The Hostess is also the waitress and cashier. This makes the whole service run slower. With only three tables to serve we had to wait 20 minutes for our food. The food is good but some things arrived cold and needed reheating. Super clean with plenty of seating. I hope they are still open when I stop by again.
