“My friends and I had a wonderful evening at the Bar. The food was very good, great variety to choose from but what I loved most of all was the Ladies nite Special. What a great deal. A glass of wine, appetizers, I chose eggplant rollitini, entree, I chose chicken franchise, and a delicious brownie with fudge and whipped cream for dessert. All for $28.99. Great time and so good. Will b going back!“
“We had the New Haven Pizza truck for our daughter’s high school graduation party on July 30th. The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. Made the deposit to book time/day online and Kelly followed up a few days before with the details. Our 50 guests raved about the pizza! Sadly, we were so busy I forgot to take pictures until the last minute but it was a beautiful display too! These guys were punctual and professional! They have their own wooden tables attached to the truck to set up which is so helpful!! And what better way than to end with Gelato and cappuccinos/espressos! Highly recommend booking the New Haven pizza truck if you’re looking to have your next party catered!! You can’t go wrong. ?“
“Nice little spot, cozy inside and wide variety of food on the menu. The pizza is really good, but it can get expensive the more items you wanna put on it! The soup was fine, wasn't anything special...but the garlic breed with mozzarella was great! And the sauce dip was also great! Something I really liked too is you can order your own liter of soda and just get glasses and share it. Big fan of places that carry foxen park soft drinks too. Service was good, polite staff, and attentive. All around good little pizza spot.“
“Another local restaurant we recently visited, had a gift card and decided to stop in for lunch. Walked in a were greeted and seated promptly. Our server was very well versed in the dishes they offered and made our choices easier. We started with a Burrata plate with melons, prosciutto, and a fresh ball of burrata cheese sliced and placed on fresh bread. Sausage with broccoli rabe done just right. I ordered Linguini Pescatore, clams, shrimp, mussels and sea bass. My wife ordered Sea bass Milanese, lemon wine sauce and spinach. All the food was great with the only knock was that my wife's Sea bass was a little on the soggy side, but tasted amazing. Nice atmosphere and plenty of parking available. Although we stopped in the winter, it is setup for outdoor dining when the warmer weather returns. For some reason my pc won't let me upload any other photos. Trust me LaLuna does food right, might be a little pricey but well worth it.Parking: there's plenty of it“
“Today we hosted a surprise baby shower for our daughter at J. Roos. From the time I booked to the end of our event everything went smoothly and the service was great. Every person I spoke with during the whole process was a delight. The space met our needs and looked great! Our server Johna (sorry if misspelled) was so sweet and on top of everything. She worked hard to make sure everything we needed was met and all our guest all mentioned how polite she was.We chose the brunch buffet option because our daughter enjoys a good brunch and we were not disappointed. The penne ala vodka was delicious! I will definitely consider hosting future events at J. Roos as well as visit at other times to try their other food options.“
“Perfect service, was fast, they stayed open a bit late when I didn't realize they were closed, had great food, was super cozy, and the staff did everything they could to make us feel welcome. Best experience I've ever had. Fantastic!!!!! Can't recommend them enough!Created a yelp account just to rave about this place!“
“We live in town; this is our go-to place for Italian food. Whenever we bring anyone here for dinner, this is where they want to go next time we see them. We really enjoy lunches there, too. Prices are quite reasonable, excellent food, plenty of it, and genuinely welcoming service staff. The garlic knots in the bread basket are a major plus, too.“
“One thing that I find very difficult is finding a pizza place that you really like and they consistently stay good. We have found places over the years that we love for a while and then they become inconsistent with the quality. It seems to have happened with every place for the past few decades. I have driven past Mama Rosa's for many years and never tried it out until my child's classmate had a pizza from there and it looked amazing. We decided to try it out and it is now our go-to place for a takeout. They run great nightly specials. They're Philly steak pizza is the best I've had. They season the beef very well and the pizza is a perfect balance. They don't skimp on the cheese. Either( that's something that we've had a problem with where unless you order extra cheese there's not a lot on it). I have never dined in there but always done takeout and the service has been great. They tend to have your food much faster than other places. I highly recommend the Philly steak pizza, their pepperoni's good and has little kick to it, the eggplant parmesan is very good. I look forward to trying more of a variety of items on their menu since there's nothing that we've had that hasn't been good.Kid-friendliness: It has a small dining room but I have seen families in there enjoying the food.Parking: There's a huge parking lot surrounding the restaurant so there is never an issue. SeeWheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp that leads up to the door of the restaurant so there should be no issue for anyone in a wheelchair being able to get into the placeDietary restrictions: They have a sign up that they now have gluten-free items available. I know they have pasta that's gluten-free and I believe they can make pizza dough that is gluten free as well.“
“We had a surprise 95th birthday for my grandmother and everything was fantastic! We had a private room with a limited menu for about 40 people. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. The drinks were refreshed and the servers did a fantastic job. Very accommodating for celiac! Highly recommend!“
