“What a wonderful establishment! From the outside you are greeted by the old world Norwalk charm and continues on into the interior design. Wood trim, early twentieth century looking bar with modern touches, and a funky old floorplan that only exists in old cities. We were greeted by a server who was incredibly friendly and had the overwhelming task of working the bar and waiting tables at lunch time. She handled it with ease and charm.I ordered the BBQ rack of ribs which were absolutely amazing and gigantic! They came with a side of coleslaw, great, and shoestring fries, average fries. I would grab a rib and it would just slide out of the meat, now that's what I call tender. The ends were nice a crispy but moist inside. The BBQ sauce was unique and full of flavor. My mother had the Cobb salad which was one of the best I have seen in years. For dessert my mother had a cappuccino which she said was the best she ever had. We shared the ricotta cheesecake, if you are a true cheesecake aficionado you know ricotta makes the best cheesecake. This did not disappoint. It's probably been 15 years since I had one as good.“

“Beautiful vintage restaurant/pub with photographs of boxing's history for aesthetic value. Relaxing atmosphere and excellent service. Food was great! Had spinach dip & housemade chips and a clam chowder for appetizers. Blackened mahi mahi Sammy, onion rings and 6 BBQ wings. Dip was hot and melty. Chowder was chock full of clam and creamy! Blackened mahi Sammy was flavorful and NOT dry which is a common issue with blackened meat but I wanted seafood and I was pleasantly surprised. Onion rings were excellent and I loved how thin and crispy they were, like they flattened the onion ring before breading it. The wings were big and crispy and I am certain that the BBQ sauce was house made as well as other sauces that came with the onion rings. While there are many eateries in the area, I would most likely return to Donovan's in the future.“

“Ordered take out. Brisket sandwich was more like a steak sandwich . Mac and cheese was mediocre. The inferno wings were nice and had a good kick. Had me sweating and I love spicy. Definitely would get these wings again. Maybe next I'll dine in.“

“I'm a taco guy and these tacos are pretty legit. Two soft tortillas corn of course great texture, nice taste, and held up nicely. Simple onions, and cilantro on top just the way I like them. Red and green sauce. Also very tasty. Came for lunch but drink bar looks great and big TVs. Nice atmosphere. I'll be back for happy hour.“
