This is my family’s new favorite Italian restaurant! We don’t live in Ridgefield but whether it’s dine in or take out, Venice is always worth the drive. Their Sicilian pizza is the best in CT!! I would also recommend trying their grilled NY strip steak, fried calamari or the stuffed mushrooms which are all delicious. My wife is obsessed with their hot antipasto which I don’t blame her. So if you’re looking for a good spot to eat, check them out. You won’t regret it!
I wish the pizza area for slices was bigger. It's great to eat outside when the weather is nice. I love the pepperoni and plain slices. I haven't eaten in the restaurznt side yet but I have taken some dishes home and they were good.
We went there for lunch at the request of my mother in law. I did not have high hopes. I was so wrong! We had the calamari on the specials menu which had just the right amount of heat. They also put peppers, garlic, crushed tomatoes and beans in the sauce which I've never seen before, but boy, was it good?! I decided on the bolognese pizza because I had never seen that done before.
